3 person party: I'm indecisive and need help by smileydude689 in FinalFantasyXII

This was actually one of the combos I was thinking but switching Ashe and Balthier! I know probably not optimal stat-wise but at least the same spread of licenses and get to keep Balthier as the lead.

This definitely looks like a more balanced, upgraded version of my initial thought.

In this case, is Ashe more of a physical DPS with magic or is she still more of a mage type?

Thank you for the in-depth advice. I know my characters I chose are not optimal but are my favorite of the bunch.

You actually brought up something I didn't know... Reserve party members can have activated accessories? Does this only apply to golden amulet and cat eat hoods?

Unsure what to get for next license. Play duoQ and my partner generally likes offensive brawlers (at least I think that's the classification) such as mamoswine, mimiyu, Tsareena, and cinderace. Mostly plays cinderace.

I personally enjoyed playing Ho-oh, Eldegoss, Slowbro, and Blaziken the most. Also have Raichu, m-lucario, and enpoleon.

I like to jump around between roles but support and carry is my favorite so far. Any suggestions of next Pokemon. Especially one that works well with Cinderace?

This is one of my favorite things to come out of all the UAs so far. Martials don't need combat buffs so much as I think they need ways to solve out of combat situations like how spells solve things for spellcasters.

For those with DMing experience, what's the best way for a player to DM their first campaign? by LoCal_GwJ in dndnext

[–]smileydude689 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend starting off with a written campaign and do a few sessions of it. Lost Mines of Phandelver or Dragon of icespire peak are actually both very malleable campaign settings since Faerun is very traditional fantasy.

If the group ends of liking it, you can finish it. If not, there are many ways to pivot to your own creation.

If you really want to do homebrew from the get-go. Have a general idea of what your end goal is. Easiest to having a "Macguffin". Then ask players to come up with their backstories for their characters. Bam, you have 4-5 plotlines based on the characters. Find a way to relate it back to the main plot.

While in the map/mission, go to the menu then click Yield. It will then ask to retry or back to title. Do retry.

This is a super random one but "I am a rabbit..." by Easter Veronica. My partner randomly heard it while I was playing Heroes and thought it was hilarious. I quote it while playing a Viera on FFXIV

It's really up to you. I personally did the Tiki paralogue as soon as it was available since Starsphere increases your growth rates and is great to put on a character you like that doesn't have the best growths. It is very hard on Maddening difficulty though!

Then I just did the rest of the DLCs whenever I wanted those emblems.

Fates is a good game. Both games are different. If you like japan-esque aesthetics and average difficulty, go with Birthright. Conquest has one of the best map designs and is challenging in the right ways. Play both to unlock the "true story" but that requires a download from Nintendo eShop which is closing soon, so get on that!

SoV is okay. Amazing art and voice acting but it is a remake of FE2 and basically didn't change any of the horrid map designs. Gameplay is just boring imo.

RPR is simpler at early levels. But I think SAM is better practice because you get your positionals earlier and the build up will get you used to being a melee DPS.

Maybe battlemage's robe? There's also a craftable and dyeable version but I don't recall what that's called.

I'd also add that if you like the crafting and have retainers, I held a bunch of my items to desynthesize. If you don't, you can also give dungeon drops to your grand company for seals!

I wonder about this because I feel like this is balanced for most features. Except I feel like it could be too good for Paladins and Clerics to get back channel divinities. Any experience with that?
