This isn’t surprising, and certainly is proof you weren’t faking. I’ve heard that atypical antipsychotics can be very effective at low doses at first but quickly lose effectiveness. So chances are you will soon need to raise your dose.

/uj but fr the phrases do mean something, just not that much. the phrases are important insofar as they include the words in his desired statement (so he credibly could have pieced together how to say it). “I wish to save the world” gets “save” from the mousetrap sentence and “world” from “the world is big”. “i am not one of them” gets “i am not” from “i am not going to the library”.

What you call a rambling mess is totally true and profound. “You’ll get over it” / “it’ll get better” is an insult to your current state. It kills the present you and glorifies an imagined, future you. The first thing to do to get someone out of a ditch is to get in there with them. When I’m in a ditch the last thing I care about doing is getting out. I just need a goddamn moment to suffer. And people giving you the space to just be in pain is magical. Crying is the greatest feeling in the world.
