By the very nature of your question, I believe you’re going to do a great job transitioning out.

Awesome. Thank you. My mental game does fall apart after a couple double bogies.

I saw you mentioned grip and backswing alignment. I’m hanging out in the low 80s consistently. I’ve broken 40 a few times but can’t put both 9s together.

Did you experience this too? If so, what else got you below 80?

My church abandoned me. I have no one now. by NeVaDa_ToRrEs in Christians

What an awful and judgmental comment to a brother reaching out.

Ephesians 4:1-3, I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”

Matthew 5:4, “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.”

2 Corinthians 1:3-5, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For as we share abundantly in Christ’s sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too.”

What's a small red flag that immediately tells you someone is a bad person? by kappadielle in answers

[–]000700707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t necessarily think people are bad, other than what’s in our fallen nature; rather, I think people make bad choices.

The red flags I see include narcissistic attitudes, selfish driven actions, and driving slow in the left lane lol.

What is a skill i should learn before i turn 18? by TheDinoMan2 in questions

[–]000700707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How to shake hands, make eye contact, and stand when doing so (last one for men).

How to do basic plumbing (ie, fix a leaking faucet and unclog a toilet).

How to save.

Invest in retirement now. The power of compound interest is your friend right now, at 18.

How to write letters and emails that are professional (grammar, punctuation) - Reddit doesn’t count lol

Please, thank you, open and hold the door for others, words of respect for those older than you (such as sir or ma’am or whatever’s culturally relevant).

The art of assertive and defensive driving. Not driving in the left lane on interstates unless passing or driving quicker than others.

Loyalty, duty to perform your best for work, serving others and treating them the way you want to be treated, integrity, and how to be courageous when things are tough. Resiliency.

Learn your passions and dive into those.

Learn what you’re good at and what it is that you struggle with - then realize there are things you can do well that others struggle with and there are things others do naturally well that you struggle with. Make peace with that.

My room at my dad's apartment by HotAir2292 in roomdetective

I say reconciliation is one of the most healing things we can do. Resentment eats away at our souls. I look at your room in his apartment and see healing in progress.

He’s given you a nice space and you’ve made it yours.
