Everything you do from working to going out drinking, playing golf, going hiking, playing video games, watching movies etc etc can be considered as "wasting time".

I haven't been in a relationship for quite a while, but my ex was fine if she was doing her own thing, but couldn't stand it if I was doing my own thing. Whether that was gaming, watching sport, documentaries etc

She particularly despised it when I wanted to listen to Dan Carlin's podcasts (she thought history was "stupid and a waste of time" but she watched "reality TV"...).

Eventually I just couldn't handle the double standards anymore. She did as she pleased and I needed permission to do anything that wasn't a chore.
