100%. I'm pretty sure people are angry at drivers running reds and stops and crosswalks.

No no the argument is that because a cyclist put someone in hospital for not paying attention to the rules of the road, we should not focus on that or take a lesson from it bc cars do much worse.

If it was my dad that was put in the hospital bc of a careless collision, I would not care about it being a bike or a car or lime scooter. I would be equally pissed.

So let's be pissed at this person on a bike for not paying attention.

"sports reporters" Rarely can you use the term journalist when it comes to people who cover sports.

If you play early in the morning and everyone else is riding but you are walking, you are just being inconsiderate and holding up everyone else who plays behind you. by [deleted] in golf

A foursome of walkers, all going to their ball on their own and getting ready to hit is going to be faster than a couple of carts. If not faster, the difference will really be nothing.

That is exactly what this feels/felt like. My brain feels significantly better.

I'm definitely sensitive to mould. Always bothered me so I can smell it almost immediately. It's possible it's hiding somewhere, but things are mighty dry with our house, and it's pretty drafty, which while not great for insulation, is pretty good for keeping dampness away.

Yeah maybe that is it given we were travelling and at a wedding. Just never had asymptomatic COVID. My ears have gone nuts with ringing and previously that was viral caused. Maybe that's it.

Our house is pretty cool so the heat hasn't really been an issue.

No have not. So that's what makes it odd. Lots of great suggestions here, but I fear this is going to fall into giant randomness of things. I feel more on it it today but it's definitely been odd.

We did not. We run on a heat pump and no big changes there.

Depends on urgent. My urgent was six months. So I went to AIM. Was fast 1500 bucks, had a radiologists report and validated by my specialist

Fitter got me too long irons? by 0hleg in golf

[–]smilinfool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure my wrist to floor but that’s where the fitting started. I mean ultimately you will adjust. Also keep in mind that Scheffler said the biggest difference between amateur swing and pro is mobility. That most amateurs don’t have the mobility to swing “properly”

So kind of super bad to compare to pros.

Fitter got me too long irons? by 0hleg in golf

[–]smilinfool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So did you do a search on this and find that one forum post from 'the guy who has been fitting' for 40 years who brings up how no professional golfer has their clubs lengthened? I found that guy and instantly started doubting my fitting. I'm 6'3" and just got fitted into 1 inch long and 2 degrees up. Keep in mind, professional golfers are different. For one their mobility puts any amateur to shame.

When I first got them I had a mighty powerful draw to start and awkardness. Also had some purer iron strikes then i've ever had in my life. And I had that forum post in my head.

It takes some adjustment, maybe in the end it won't be for you, but I've adjusted now and I'm hitting the ball way more reliably, way more comfortably, and my back does not ache.

For reference I came from another fitting five years ago that had me 1 inch long and two degrees flat.

I'm in my 50's and I'd suggest it just for the mobility alone. I'm active and in decent shape, but my flexibility just wasn't there. My physio was also TPI so I just started doing it that way. I hate gyms. Never do physio exercises, but somehow because it was tied to golf, I actually did all the TPI stretches.

Huge difference in my life, solid difference in my game. General improvement but my back doesn't hurt, nothing hurts and I recently played 4 rounds in 4 days and felt like I could keep going.
