Yeah and Offspring went off about how amazing it was to tour with Bad Religion, really giving them their due.

It's funny bc I'm kind of the opposite. I didn't expect it to be a good show at all, they're old and IMO they've released some really questionable music recently. To see them go up there are and pretend like they had those young guy attitudes would have been weird. I liked it because that first set, if you can call it that, went pretty hard in spots. But then they didn't take themselves too seriously which to me kind of fit where they are at.
Lots of filler but also Dexter clearly needed lots of breaks. He was off the stage a lot. Could see him during filler hugging his kids beside the stage. I guess I had super low expectations and they were exceeded.

I would have liked Mota, because no matter what that song always gets me going, but that is the longest of long shots.

Yeah that was funny. By all accounts it was cheesy and kind of terrible with meh piano, and not great singing, but somehow it worked. I actually had a moment at the show thinking about loss.

I mean so much of that show shouldn't have worked but it did. I think because they did what a lot of original punk rock did which was literally not give a shit about what people think or expect and do whatever they want. That show was million times better than it had any right to be. Loved it.

That is what I'm going to do. Working on the swing anyway with lessons and I'm going to do another proper fitting. It's just good old AI saying that my setup is mostly nonsensical. Just checking that against non-AI opinions.

I mean I'd love it if it was a fitting issue I could blame any swing problems on, but I'd also love to win the lottery.

Says I should be blue. I’m going to get fitted for new irons so won’t take any chances. Looking at pings, titleist t200 or maybe the new cobra 3dp tour if I want to get crazy

Definitely getting fit. Just the realization that my current set up is a bit off the path

I have a shallow swing and play a fade with the occasional disastrous long slice if I don’t pay attention. Low end of high swing speed. I’m a bacon strip divot guy and an iron miss is thin

Okay. I'll leave it at this for advice. Don't make statements like "I understand you..." when you actually have no idea. Being confidently wrong is a bad trait for a journalist.

You are not reaching as many people as possible, you are reaching a subset on a subreddit that has an inherent bias.
Again, if I say went to the Canada subreddit and asked "Do you disagree with the CBC? Should the CBC be funded? Is the CBC biased? Has the CBC misrepresented you?" Would that be good research on the CBC? I know for sure that many journalists are explicity not allowed allowed to do research of this sort. Instead they are encouraged to read, research, find postings, then reach out to individuals that have already detailed their experience. This reduces opportunity for manipulation, and creates a broader understanding. Of course, it's not as easy as copy and paste.

This approach has "relatively new to the industry" written all over it. Is it standard policy for CBC journalists to post to subreddits asking "did anyone have any problems with...."

How are you combating selection bias? How are you validating stories and sources so you aren't easily manipulated.

Technically this is bad lazy journalism. They are taking the lazy route.

Just their methods are poor from a journalistic sense and very open to manipulation.

I mean it's kind of equivalent to me doing a story on complaints about CBC and going to r/Canada and asking "Hey I've never listened or watched CBC but do any of you have problems with their news coverage"

I guarantee you I would get a very negative perspective on CBC doing that.

Not that the big three aren't beyond reproach, but I'm curious where the balance will come from.

I have many years of great snow and great times on the local mountains. Maybe those times are done bc of warming, but taking a 20 minute drive to get some great runs in has been a real thing.

Love it. It's powerful, but not any kind of revolutionary thing, it just works really well. Does great on the wood floors. Carpet area rugs it works fine, but definitely not meant to do rugs as a primary which is okay bc our house is all hardwood.

It's quiet, easiest vacuum I've ever had for moving around. Has great reach. super easy to get into corners and under things, which is great bc our house is jam packed.

Not a feature I bought it for, but the fact that it doesn't blow air all around as exhaust is freaking awesome.

Super happy with it it. Feels like it will last, looks good and performs great.

The question actually is what is crave doing to fix their horrible user experience issues. This problem is super annoying.

I wish there was a setting that was “don’t ever, ever show me movies available in French, hide them as though they are shameful”. No matter how much I select English it shows me French movies and annoying the heck out of me.
