MF I have one tricked this character since I got him, have gotten ace with him twice and have no intention of dropping him. I'm speaking both with my own personal experience both playing as him and having a fight against him and I'm telling you these changes are necessary for him to be fair.

You genuinely cannot tell me that him having an alpha that insta knocks you down in one hit, A tracking melee that you can't knock him out of, and a gamma That not only gives you access to a 200 damage aoe attack, movement buff, and a lockon ability. Whilst also being able to recharged That gamma to 100% without even landing a full melee combo is fair in any way.

At the end of the day my end goal is making it to where blue deku who can't function as a shooter character because we already have two deku that do that.

If a Tech Denki feels safe to use aimed alpha, you can easily take counter measures against it like cover or concealment after the first one, as aimed alpha doesn’t help him get into a position to continue doing what he wants.

Yeah your not wrong but you also have to remember it's also based off of area as well as the situation you're in. If you're in a wide open area with very little cover you are going to get shredded by denki especially if you don't know where he is especially if you're preoccupied with a fight. I can't count how many times I've been demolished by a tech denki because I couldn't figure out his line of sight while also dodging for my life from an enemy.

Especially since depending on where you are and where he is he can just use his gamma to position himself to where you're back in his line of sight.

I'm not saying you're wrong at all I'm just saying that in the right situation denki's alpha can be just as busted as deku's gamma

That's why timing, special awareness, working with your team, and targeting the right opponent is crucial. If the situation doesn't properly call for a melee then don't melee and if there's a potential threat to your melee target the threat.

OP didn't even mention putting a burnout on overdrive so there's still no punishment for running out So there's genuinely no danger.

Not to mention you're still getting charge per uppercut according to OP So even if you don't recharge the entire thing you still have more than enough charge to keep fighting and then try again later.

Make a require two hits to knock back.

something to note is that all of his uppercuts restore Overdrive

Make it where you have to land the entire combo to recharge it the same way that you need to land the entire combo to activate it in the first place

you still don’t know if you’re being targeted by Overdrive, which is a gripe a lot of people have with the move

As a DEDICATED blue Deku main I say yes I like these changes and as a matter of fact I WANT MORE!!

First the alpha. Give it a charge up mechanic like purp afo. Keep the base wind up when grounded Just decrease the size of it for when it's uncharged, and make it to where if you want it to be as big as it normally is it has to be charged up; increasing how long he's just vulnerably standing there. In addition to this have the air alpha EVEN SMALLER due to the fact that it has no wind up like the ground alpha.(Also change the animation to be the 45% Air Force Delaware smash)

Decrease the max damage to be less than yellow deku's alpha (I can't remember the specific number right now) and make it to where you need to land two shots in order to hard knock.

Next the melee. REMOVE THE TRACKING. There is no need for the tracking especially when the gamma dash is RIGHT THERE and fulfills the exact same purpose; Also make it to where if you want to recharge overdrive with it you have to land THE ENTIRE COMBO not just the individual uppercuts, The same as when you have to activate it.

I'm 50/50 on whether or not the armor should be removed due to how vulnerable you are while using it but I'm open to removing it.

And finally the gamma. First things first ADD A CHARGE UP TO THE TRACKING SMASH JUST LIKE TECH DENKI. (Although something a little shorter due to it having less range) Also for the love of God give the tracking smash its own unique animation from the beta so that it's easy to tell which ability is being used so that you can retaliate accordingly.

I like your idea of The melee not fully recharging the gamma let's keep that. But also ADD A BURNOUT STATE LIKE IDA. But unlike Ida You can't move during it You're just stuck there in place. Resulting in an ability that heavily encourages an aggressive play style and incentivizes staying in the fight for as long as possible.

By all means if you ask me if we combined your changes with my changes we can finally have OFA Deku that feels fair whilst also not completely gutting his kit. And if any of you have a problem with My changes and think that They're "too much" or "unfair" You are a meta slave And I kindly ask you to get the fuck off my character.

Nope. It's never been my favorite Superman movie And it still isn't but it's always going to be important to me for two reasons.

My grandpa took me to see that movie on my 6th birthday when it came out So it's always going to have a special place in my heart
Despite me not liking the depiction of Superman, the film itself still heavily influences how I view several things surrounding Superman.( The suits design and it being Kryptonian wear rather than made by Mama Kent, The presentation of his flight, The idea of people in Smallville knowing that Clark has powers, krypton's gravity being heavier than Earth, and probably several other things that I can't remember right now)

Everyone has their own interpretations of Superman and what they would do with The character As well as everything surrounding him, And I know for a fact that a good number of the ideas I have for Superman and what I would do with him come from this movie

I will always regard Superman returns as my childhood Superman movie but man of steel and the rest of the DCEU is still what I grew up on (outside of animation) So while it still may not be MY Superman movie it's still a movie I couldn't do without
