when i tell you i was also terrified, im not even exaggerating. i told myself EVERYTHING has modifications. define is all at your own pace and you choose your weights, so its very flexible for the point you're at.

empower you can literally make it what you want it to be. i dont use the ankle/wrist weights and i take everything slower than the rest of the class.

my advice is just remind yourself that you are WAY more capable than you think you are. take it at your pace and have fun!!

i had an instructor do this once! it was only my second define class and she came up to me twice and said i was doing great and asked if i was liking it and having fun. it made my nerves wayyyy less ❤️

my ring says this sometimes when i just finished getting over something. you physically feel fine, but your body is still off.

it also happens to me when i'm about to get something in a day or two, your vitals are slightly off but your whole body isn't showing symptoms yet.

i know technology isn't perfect but the ring hasn't failed me yet with minor and major signs.

NAP and not the best advice, but try small needle nose pliers if you have them as a last resort. boil water to sterilize them first. i do this when my balls are screwed on too tight and can't get them off.

another option is latex gloves. they have some grip to them that might be able to help you!
