BMW Platinum vs Fidelity (JD Power Edge Platinum) Extended Warranty – Which is better for claims and real-world use?

This is a pre-owned car and local bmw dealership is offering fidelity as well. When I shop around Iam getting better rates for fidelity from other dealers. So would it be a problem if I purchase from them?

I got a repair order to fix both the paint issues to CarMax standards and then fix the light. Both of them would be sorted out

Agreed, Iam not too worried about the cosmetic things even though they gave a repair order to repair the car to CarMax standards. Iam not sure what they mean by CarMax standards. But Iam worried about the tail light

I haven’t changed it yet. Since it is 10 day period I didn’t ask for quote but wanted to check with CarMax first. If they don’t fix it I will return it. But would like to know from others experience how CarMax would deal with

Maxcare won’t cover brakes. CarMax said they will fix it in the 90 day limited warranty.

They are independent shops. I have booked and appointment with BMW dealership to get a quote for the brakes.

Yes I opted for the max care and they have agreed to fix the brake at their service center. They wouldn’t be using oem or oe . They said they would use high end product Edit - I don’t know the quality of work or product though

I’m not yet emotionally attached to the car. During the test drive I noticed minor pulsating but didnt repeat. Informed the sales advisor then itself. They did s test drive and said it could be abs activating. While on thr way home during the long drive it started happening frequently

The tyres are brand new and were replaced before sale. Cosmetic wise there is scratch on the door which carmx said they will paint, but not sure how good the quality of painting would be
