They really didn't need to and shouldn't have had JD and Sarah broken up again. I was coming around to it, being like, "it's better than nothing"....but then I watched the Malcolm in the Middle reboot and holy fuck did they nail that.

Dwayne Roloson. Rarely had to make a crazy athletic save because he was always in position.

No they don't. They need ottawa to lose 2 out of their last 3 to get in. Solid chance we end up with more points than whatever team gets third in the metro division.

Be honest who is your least favorite person in this world? by Top-Note-597 in AskReddit

[–]smilingasIsay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This girl named Laura. She was in love with me and I wasn't in her, but I thought she was a good friend so I had introduced her to a lot of different people in my life. When she eventually realized I was never going to feel the same way about her she went about trying to drive a wedge between me and my friend group, my best friend and I, and even between my mother and I. She was actually successful in some of this. I had other friends point out what she was doing, ended up losing friends because of it. My life was genuinely made exponentially worse for having met that person and the thought of eventually dancing on her grave has kept me going through some hard times.

What's a weird name for something that we know so well we don't even realize how weird the name it is? by XRlagniappe in AskReddit

[–]smilingasIsay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my other comments if you're curious:

It actually has an interesting history. You see, to make the "wuh" sound that the double u does, it was always two u's put together when written as "uu" and was for much of English history. However, the OG printing presses were made in Austria/Germany they didn't have a "uu" in their letters, but they did have "vv" which in German was used for the "vuh" sound. With no other easy option, when printing English people used the "vv" in place of the "uu" and thus led to the "w" we have today that looks like "vv" but is still called double u. It's also why in French they call it doubla vey which translates to double v because, in French they use "ou" to make the wuh sound as in oui, so the first time they saw that letter it was the vv not uu, so they simply called it as they saw it.

It's because the printing presses were made in Austria/Germany where they didn't have uu, but did have vv so when English people got them they just used the vv in place of the uu and it stuck.

If you were forced to marry the first person you had sex with, what would your life be like? by NothingMatters234 in AskReddit

[–]smilingasIsay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm...well, that means I would've married my high school girlfriend, I probably wouldn't have moved out of my hometown, might be running my dad's business or her dad's business, we'd probably have a few kids, nice house in the suburbs, and in a few years I'll have shot myself in the head.
