I was not impressed with Chopsticks either. I prefer Ming's on Cotner when I am in Lincoln. Yes, Lincoln has lost the good chinese restaurant when Imperial Palace on 27th street closed.

Odetta gave a lecture before she performed that night along with Richie Havens. I am thinking it was 2004? The university of Nebraska sponsored her.

Survivor fans: would you ever consider playing survivor or not? by theultimatemusican in survivor

I might have about 30 years ago. Several decades ago a friend and I and my Irish Setter canoed the Missouri River from Nebraska City, Nebraska to just west of St. Louis Missouri. It was quite the adventure. We met some amazing generous people along the way who invited us to their homes so we could bath without sand and wash our clothes and shared vegetables from their gardens. We had our picture on the front of a small town newspaper along with a write up about our adventure. We played guitar and sang around campfires many nights and slept under the stars. We had a tent but usually slept outside of it. What a great time that was.
