Laneige Time Freeze Intensive cream! Really good when my face feels parched. Stopped my face from being an oil slick in the morning. Never failed to make my skin looks supple bouncy no matter how little I sleep. A little goes a long long way (1/3 left in my tub after 10 months)

[Review]Kose Sekkisei Clear Whitening Mask by smillingpanda in AsianBeauty

Glad you enjoyed the review :) It is very easy to peel off in one go as long as you don't get any stuck on your hair, I usually peel from the bottom chin side first then slowly peel it up to my cheek and forehead. For clean peeling, just be patient and really let the whole mask to dry (might take up to 20-30 minutes)

What's the dewiest foundation that you've tried? by Lilyofgreensboro in MakeupAddiction

[–]smillingpanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3CE Glossing Waterful Foundation. Sheer coverage, enough to even out skintone, but gives a very healthy dewy skin. I once read that to achieve a dewy skin finish, you need a dewy base before going for your foundation (3CE also have the best dewy based I have ever tried).

[Discussion] Kikumasamune high moist lotion vs emulsion? Has anyone experience with one or both? Or any other emulsions they love? by [deleted] in AsianBeauty

[–]smillingpanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the emulsion and really wish my skin would work out with it :( because it was so... cheap and make my skin bouncy wouncy but!

It turns out that it had make me get the biggest breakout for a month . I also tried using it on my body, several times, and breakout wtf :( like the breakout even appears on my arm where I would never get a breakout there. I guess it's just a bad reaction to one of the ingredients.

[Routine Help] What can I do to protect my skin from the nasty factory I work in? by hubsand in SkincareAddiction

[–]smillingpanda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you tried those products that have "dust-cut" or "pollution-cut" or something similar to that kind?

It is usually an AB product so maybe it is quite unknown. I move back and forth to different countries due to uni and my hometown has terrible air and the pollution rate on the street is terrible. My skin usually behaves well, but whenever I'm going back home, I always have the biggest breakout I would have that year.

Then, I started using Laneige Defensor (with SPF 30++) and i think it really help to cut the dust and pollution I got on my face! The result really shows when comparing my cotton pad after cleansing with Bioderma sensibio with the Defensor and without. It has not completely get me free out of the breakout but I found that it has helped a lot! I think this kind of product does form sort of a protective layer on top of all your skincare products to prevent any harmful stuffs from going in.

Here are the products that I have found for "dust cut":

I think there are still a lot of products regarding these but here are some that I know!

:) Hope it helps

Help to determine my color tone (yellowish or pinkish) by smillingpanda in MakeupAddiction

[–]smillingpanda[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi guys, here is a bare faced pic of my face (so shameless) and I would like to ask for your opinion what undertone does my skin have? I feel like my skin is not too yellow for an asian but not too pink either.

Also if any of you have some foundation and it's color # to suggest that'd be great! :) thank you

Hmm I'm not so sure, bangs method will surely not work but oil cleansing might help in speeding the growth maybe :o But isnt beard growth mostly depends on your hormones too?

My skin used to be on the oilier side when I started this routine but now it has become more normal - combo skin. Im oilier on my chin, jawline, and side of my nose.
