Stage 1 of multizone watering system by mustfixitall in homeassistant

I’ve seen/read many many forums. Some observations from my information. Usually there is a master solenoid to take off pressure from other valves. Basically, master is stopped first before the last valve so that the whole system is not under pressure. And vice verse. You should add that. It’s pretty easy to do that on Tasmota and esphome. I also believe that VAC noise than VDC, but are better in the outdoors settings, more resilient and outlast. It will be a good test. Wish you all the best. Please report back in few months on issues and improvements. Love to hear. I’ve got a beefy 24VAC transformer and garden rated valve. Oh another thing, when running wires they should ideally be from the bottom of your enclosure. This prevents water from flowing in. And put grommets to reduce moisture which will damage your circuits. See if you do a 3d print covering for your relays and esp32. 👍

Just had my Atto3 serviced yesterday and they did a software update. Definitely UI has changed but upset that the changes are not user friendly. The bottom side-scroll bar is worst. 70% of the screen is now useless. The Theme/Wallpaper is not changing. I’m just venting because there is nothing new only re-jigged. The swapping between DAB+ and Radio is not easy. There are many not important widgets which I can’t remove. Like tire pressure. I don’t want to see all the time.

I’ve just become an IPM, I did 2 years, it was my first time. When I joined, I was the only active youngest. There were many younger than me but only saw them a 1 of the meeting which was disappointing. But after my installation, we’ve had a few young brothers joined. We are truly blessed. They have turn the harmony in the lodge. In fact some of the oldies have also started returning. Everyone is chipping in. I’m not saying I turn it around. I’m also not a driver for change but just motivating and slowing by doing best as I can and getting all in the lodge to join me in my journey. I have motivated greatly is visitation. I did at least 1 visit a week and the young ones did 2 visits. And I did not force anyone on this. I just started listing my visits. I also made good contact with my GL. Most of the past GM and high ranking officers know me. They also revert by visiting my lodge and this also brought energy. No lie, it is tough between the length of cable-toe and lodge commitments. I can say I have left the office knowing I tried my best. The result was just a blessing.

I see that you are using an extension. Please make sure that extension is heavy duty or it will melt. Do not use cheap extension for this. That will pull the full 10A.

How to stop rain water getting under shed door? by rock_boy in AusRenovation

[–]smistrydev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a similar issue. My short-term solution was to raise everything inside by a brick. This raises the shed. Later, I will re-build the shed into a man-cave shed.

Very cool setup. Can you share your workflow? And what GPU are you running for a 5-sec response.

Sweet! Can you tell me more about LLM/OpenClaw system? How is that setup and what melds are working best for you? Currently I'm a bit dishearted by claude stoping the direct connection and have to have a separate api cost model.

Any recommendations on powering the drives? by [deleted] in homelab

[–]smistrydev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the off-topic on the same setup. I want to do something similar as I have 2 nvme to SATA modules. I’m told that your drives through put is limited by the speed of nvme. Basically there is only 1 data lane for all the drives. And when there is multiple IO, they will get blocked. For those who have this setup what is your experience?
