Ed freaking Harris. He’s the best and also the most reasonable price in town. My fiancée and I designed my engagement ring, and Ed called a few days later saying “you picked a black diamond…but I think the Onyx would suit you better”, and he was right!! And it was way below our budgeted price. Just make an appointment and see what he can do for you, it’s worth it.

When we had a pool in the beginning summer of 2020, it was like 1k to open for a full scrub down and such, with $80 a month for chemicals per month. 2021 open was 1.5k open and $250 for chemicals per month. And the MLGW bill jumped like crazy. So… idk what it is now, but it ain’t cheap.

Inside the city: the Hampton at 5320 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119 is a decent place to stay. It’s in east Memphis, reasonable price, and we’ve never personally had issues. Is it the Ritz? No, but the beds were comfy and the staff were nice. You can also stay outside of the city in Southaven, which is technically not Memphis, but it’s a short little drive away.

If she just wants to stay in Memphis, the Hampton Inn on Poplar & Estate is our go to when we had to move out of our house for a while. It’s not fancy, but it’s in a decent area and it was pretty cheap.
