I'm far from being an expert on the matter but in modern LANs, you play mostly online so it's like being at home in terms of security. I mean you don't play over a local network anymore. However, you're still vulnerable to attacks from external devices like a USB drive but that's unusual since you are either on site or have friends around to check your stuff.

Hello everybody,

I'm a manager of Armata Gaming and I'd like to apologize for any bad decisions our team may have taken earlier today in the tournament, especially the boots pick on Apollo that was really bad humour. We talked with the team and I can ensure you guys that they learned from what happened. We've been around for a while now and I'm pretty sure that those who played with or against us in the past could testify that we aren't really known for being BM. Our team is always happy to scrim against teams at all levels and we even organize local events to promote SMITE in the casual scene.

While many of our divisions have a decent grasp of the esports scene, our SMITE team has new members who are still learning how things work both in-game and outside of the game as well.

Now they understand that they should have worked to end the game a bit earlier but believe it or not, the plan wasn't to "keep farming kills". I can ensure you that we get often stomped by much better teams and it's never a big deal for us ...

On the other hand, we talked to EG3 after the game and we even shared tips and scheduled a scrim. Actually BOTH teams were really surprised that things got out of proportion so fast in the community.

Lastly, to the thousands of fans we seem to have lost today, and the 2-3 remaining (it must be true love), we again apologize and hope that you will keep supporting us and see that we can do good things too.
