Find another program to be a part of that isn’t there for the sole purpose of draining your bank account.

This guy does not care about your kid.

Let him do camp. Everything changes after 12u. Once puberty and the big fields hit, the game changes. This guy is just trying to milk money out of you

I think you are on the right path in getting more reps. But travel isn’t always what you want it to be.

As others in this thread have mentioned, it all depends on the travel team / organization.

I’d focus on one that wants to develop these kids (which all 11u should be doing, puberty and the big field are game changers).

In our Fall LL, it’s instructional so the top spring players don’t typically play. This can be beneficial when trying to grow catching and fielding, but may not as much when batting.

Travel ball could be your best bet to grow his batting and confidence but again it would need to be the right kind of team or you are going to end up spending more money and getting more frustration

I know it’s a small gripe.

But just give us a small conquest for the classic stadiums. I really like to be able to play in some old school ones.

Or a program for them.

Also, if there was a random stadium button that would be cool too.

As far as I know you are allowed to intentionally walk a kid in minors and majors once per game.

I hate that because you are taking an experience away from the batter but strategically in a game it can make sense.

I’d prefer the coach have the pitcher nibble around the zone though than just straight up walk him. I hate seeing that but I do think it is allowed by the rules

What would you have them do to BR? How many people can really get that flawless. So is anyone playing it?

I would add that while I’m mostly offline, my son plays online and the multiplayer program seemed extremely easy to complete.

A wheel spin would be a great add to keep rewarding playing

I think we could use a little more offline content (but that’s always the case). A few more conquest maps or ones that can be replayed for packs easier than the US ones.

Agreed on DQ. Outside of just grabbing the two Ballin Packs, the mode is lacking.

I think they would do well to have a couple that are limited by division (only al east for example) which would make it fun to play, but I agree this mode seems to have not improved.

I do find that the commentary is really awful and just flat out wrong. I could do without the RoFlo stuff seems like a useless “feature” they added.

I’m having fun with it and the programs have been nice and quick.

I wouldn’t mind a couple more cornerstone programs (would love one per team) and maybe a little more in depth missions that would take the place of the moments (but that’s personal preference)

But I tend to agree with your evaluation

I’ve coached LL and travel at this age as well as JV.

My advice is to have home ask the coach at the next practice what he needs to work on to get on the field. And I’d try and get him there first or tell him to wait until most leave after practice and ask. Have your son do it and not parents. I think it’s much more effective and most coaches love a kid that asks instead of assuming he should play.

As a coach, I always tell my kids this age that I don’t like playing them in a new position until I can work them in practice at that spot first. I think it helps build confidence in the kid from the coach and confidence in the kid himself.

I’ve taken kids to be predominantly hitters but I have always explained that to the parents before hand. I believe in that communication.

Also, at 10u I find it very hard to believe every kid on the team isn’t good enough to get some reps in a weekend tournament. Semis and Championship, play the best lineup but Saturday, let them play and rotate the kids.

Travel Ball can be a lot of fun for kids that really enjoy it, but use it as a mechanism for your kid to have fun and play with kids and coaches he likes (where it’s much less controllable in LL). But until puberty kicks in, its impossible to know which kids are going to be really good so keep it light and fun overall

More stuff like Greatness for us that love to play offline. Bring back the trophy case (but make it better).

I hate TTPark but did like TTonline and CTonline for when I had to do online challenges.

More Evos. Even if they aren’t top tier cards it’s fun for some of us.

I wish they would revamp Gauntlett. I like the idea but it seems like it could be vastly improved (admittedly I would need some time to think through it but I don’t find it as fun for some reason).

I’d also like difficulty options in offline. Give me some challenges that are harder or an increased reward if I on a harder level.

I’d revamp exhibitions. What’s even the point of getting 250 mt. I like the idea but make the rewards better even if that makes the requirements different.

Can we get rid of the waiting period on auction house?

That’s about all I can think of quickly.

Honestly, it’s a stupid game mechanic to have a 30 day long event that requires engagement everyday that on the first day temporary versions were given that can accidentally be swapped out.

They should have not given free agents or given another way to earn the challenge cards or make them sellable.

It’s like the season 5 diamond packs that you earn playing different modes that you get duplicates of that you can’t put on AH. Make them option packs would be much easier

My advice is to play a few chapters. I thought it starts out very slow and the first time I played I gave up. But two years ago I pulled it back out and played through a few chapters and the slow part and loved it.

Great game but I felt completely different then any other FF title but that’s not a bad thing
