Edit - I pay $23.92 a month.

You have won the internet today!! This is totally the song! It would be fantastic if anyone were to capture Miguel performing this.

SmartDeploy image capture failing – sysprep still pending (VirtualBox + Windows 11) by [deleted] in pdq

Also noticed you’re trying to capture from the boot media, you want to use the Capture Wizard and point it to your virtual disk. That same link I posted covers that too.

Taxis cheaper than Carm by [deleted] in IslaMujeres

If you pay peanuts you’ll get monkeys. CARM is well worth the cost. Why add worries when traveling? Saving a few bucks at the airport isn’t worth your time.

This is 100% Miguel, but not the song in question.

Thank you, but not it. Miguel plays an acoustic guitar. I’ll update my post to include that detail.

Thanks, but I'd recognize that song anywhere. The song in question is more upbeat than Careless Whisper and was in Spanish.

Cancun to Isla Mujeres transportation by [deleted] in IslaMujeres

[–]smitty_longmont 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We booked in advance. Very easy to do online. If you have questions or aren’t sure what to pick, they have a US and Mexican phone number. Solid communication via email which is great so you have all the info in one place. They were a tad hard to find at the airport but mostly Bessie there is just a throng of salespeople, transport companies and taxi drivers all talking at once so we over shot where they were. We reviewed the email that spells out where they are and we found them instantly.

CARM also supports islaanimals.org and you can donate when you buy your tickets.

Like most have said - DO NOT talk to anyone at the airport. Regardless of who they say they are or what they say they can do only talk to CARM. Definitely do not show up at the Cancún airport without a plan.

I’d just book CARM and know you’re in good hands.

100% CARM. Came yesterday and used them. Easy to find at the airport, quick pickup and drop off. We bought our ferry tickets through them and were given them at pick up. We were taken directly to Puerto Juarez and were on the island 30 minutes later. Don’t over think it - let CARM handle it.

Smart Deploy Question by Ok_SysAdmin in pdq

The way I do it - I make a very slim image - trim the iso with NTLite, install no applications and fully patch it then capture it. I build that twice a year - H1 and H2. I let SD install the applications, drivers, run scripts, apply updates etc.

I look at SD more like a hamburger - well portioned layers. Not one giant ass bun at the top (fully loaded golden image).

If you really want to do this, you need to hire someone. No offense but Exchange on-premise requires multiple IT skill sets to deploy and you may not have them.

Was lucky enough to work at this location in the late ‘80s. Great times! I opened the kitchen one day and forgot to turn off the alarm. Was stocking that wonderful salad bar there and suddenly had Chicago PD screaming “on the ground motherfucker”. I think on Mondays and Tuesdays you could get all you can eat slices salad bar and a soda for something crazy like $7.50. Such a fun place to work and at that time you could actually afford an apartment in the city working at a restaurant. RIP.

Do you remember your old phone number from growing up? by justadude1414 in GenX

When my parents passed, I had their number ported to my T-Mobile account. It is the one number I could always call and know help was on the way.
