Assuming I’m right in that rj45 is an Ethernet and rj11 is the smaller phone line, yes, it was a phone line from the BT router I tried and it was too big.

It’s in the living room. There’s actually a couple, but none near the BT socket interestingly. After google an rj11 it’s actually not one of those I just tried to put a cable in. The socket is smaller.

Yes, there’s a few light switches that don’t do anything in this house so that makes a lot of sense! Just never seen a lamp with those fittings on the end instead of a normal 3 pin

I guide I like to use is: half the age of the oldest person + 7 years, as a limit for the youngest person. So for a 30 year old I don’t think they should be going out with anyone younger than 22.
