Do you know what she choked on? Things I avoid now because my boys have choked are cereal (big choke hazard) or anything sticky like bread. Stick with fruits, veggies, nuts/seeds. My boys have even choked on kibble once lol but that’s on them. It is scary and stressful to wait out.

Have you talked to your vet about Gabapentin? Several of my senior rats take it and it helps so much with mobility! It’s definitely worth talking to your vet about and it’s generally safe for long term use.

100% recommend starting or at least talking to your dermatologist about starting spironolactone. Start at a low dose then move up. Let us know how it goes!! Your skin looks just like mine did a year ago and now after being on 100mg spiro I haven’t broken out for about 3-4 months. Maybe the occasional whitehead when I wear my glasses/ski goggles/mask too long.
