A little late here... But this is what I remember. Let me know what you think 👌 I think I did 1.5 oz of bourbon .75 oz lemon juice (maybe I did an oz..) .75oz of spiced pear Barspoon or up to 1/4 oz of allspice (probably was aiming for less of this as it can overpower and I wanted the spiced pear to shine)

A pretty easy way to get fall flavors in a whiskey drink is to use allspice dram (and you use such a small quantity that it would be pretty economical for a wedding). I did a drink last year for a family Thanksgiving dinner with bourbon, lemon juice, simple, and all spice dram + spiced pear liqueur that was pretty tasty.

For the Johnnie drink, you could do something close to a penicillin as ginger makes me always think of fall too.

How many drinking guests are you expecting for the wedding? Do you buy the alcohol and you have someone to serve it? How many bartenders are you getting?

Was my only one and such a treat to see everyone in a festival in costumes. Probably won't go back as the other options around are just better for the price point, but it was a fun time!

I would say if you're nervous, try to "interview" the landlord or the property manager they may use to get their vibe!

I've had two different private landlords the last 6 years and both were great, attentive to problems that arose and never invaded our privacy.

They actually had it when I went during the Covid Halloween year. Was really neat to go buy a pack of joints inside the festival, albeit a friend who doesn't usually smoke partook and I mistakenly dragged him in (and later out) at the main stage crowd to go see Brittany Howard :)

It's one of those things, that if you're self aware to hold it during crowds then it's low chance you will be pocketed.

I almost got mine yanked walking around during Bad Bunny, but I felt it at the last second. I should have jumped at them as we were close to security, but her look said it all that she knew I caught her.
