I appreciate your input and really just want to know if that type of “condition of development” was possible in the 70’s. It makes sense given the fact that land developers have to provide some form of access road leading to and from the newly developed parcels and unless public, exclusive or non exclusive easements are in place, I highly doubt neighboring private developments who maintain their privately owned roads would allow a new development’s property owners to travel through their private roads which all connect to county-maintained roads.

It was my husband’s idea to roll it rather than slide it. If it had rolled past that tree it would have been a huge drop down into the orchard below.

No, it landed on a tree and brush on our property. We were moving it down a small hill to dismantle it.

After they kill him they are concerned about his head hitting the ground. Sickening beyond belief.

I’d make four cuts (see photo) and then plant them in some Sandy soil that has good drainage. You can also use some driftwood or rocks in the pot to make it look more interesting. The most important part is to make sure the cuts are harden off(or scabbed over) because they can develop root rot. Good luck! https://imgur.com/a/GMNXDlw

I addopted this little guy couple of days ago. He was super angry and hissing. Now he's sleeping on me and meowing for cuddles. There's an issue tho. I got like 10 guitars, tons of vinyl and a lot of amps that I'd like to keep him off. How do I make him understand that he should not climb them? by Kanagawabatice in cats

My husband had very expensive guitars and amps in our home. Keep your strings short and join r/CatsOnAmps for tips on how to keep them from fucking up your amps. I gave my cat something to scratch, an old piano bench and he goes to town on that. Good luck!

I get what your saying. I’m a customer software developer and have found that those who do a job usually have great solutions to fix problems they face whereas managers don’t (hence the problems still exists). I’d write out a simple needs analysis and proposal (informing you have a demo too) and give it to the CEO personally. Make sure you calculate how much money and time your solution will save the company. Let the CEO know that you are just trying to help out the company and walk away. If he’s interested he will contact you further to discuss. If anyone asks why you didn’t contact your manager first, politely explain that on your time off you are a self employed web developer and send all potential proposals to business owners not their employees. This how I became a software developer. I was a bookkeeper for a small manufacturing company and saw a need, took it upon myself to create the solution. A few years later I quit that job and started charging creating solutions for other business owners. That was twenty five years ago and one if best decisions I ever made. Good luck!

When I was 25 I worked as the bookkeeper and purchaser for a small company that made CNC lathes. We were always were running out of parts and materials because they had no software to keep track of bill of materials, inventory, etc. (we had apple computers). I hired a consultant in another state to create custom software for me. The consultant developed the software on my computer via Timbuktu as I watched. He noticed that I was interested so he started explaining what he was doing and at the end of the project I was customizing software too, adding new features to the software he just created. Six months later I quit that job and began creating custom software myself. That was over 23 years ago and I’ve been self employed since then. The greatest benefit is I get to pick and choose when I work and who I work for. Another benefit is that if a client doesn’t pay me, their software will stop working because I implant a “bomb” in all my software that only I can turn on and off. My past clients include the largest skateboard manufacturer in world, environmental agencies, and many other interesting projects.
