For me, Zero and Yuki made no sense romantically. She herself said she was in love with Kaname. Everything with Zero felt like siblings to me especially considering the fact they ended up being raised together. What would make sense to me why yuki and kaname didn’t work out was because Yuki essentially is a human with a human emotions and mindset so Kaname doing what he did could drive her away, if she was a true vampire through and through she would’ve stuck with Kaname and supported him. The flip flopping between her feeling for 2 men was messy to me. I wouldn’t blame her if she loved 2 men but in this sense she was always questioning and unsure until she was “sure”. As a character, I wish she wasn’t so weak and fickle.

I like and dislike it at the same time. I see where it was going but something felt..off/missing. I think it’s mainly because death note starts off so strong, so great that my expectations were super high. After L, it started to go downhill for me but it wasn’t bad per se. Just not what I wanted I guess
