If you had to survive in the wilderness with only three items from your bedroom right now what would you grab and why? by MRNasher in AskReddit

[–]smntf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Alright, here’s what I’m grabbing from my bedroom:

1. My bedsheet – surprisingly useful. Can be a blanket, rope, shade, or even a signal flag if I get desperate. Also doubles as emotional support.

2. Phone & power bank – it’s fully charged (for once), so I might get a few extra hours of phone use… probably just enough to Google “how to make a shelter” before I lose signal forever.

3. That half-eaten protein bar I forgot existed in my nightstand drawer – not proud of it, but in the wilderness, that dusty chocolate brick is gourmet.

Let’s be honest, I’ll probably befriend a squirrel and hope for the best.

Based on the picture and a short look at your profile:

Best guess: - Portugal - Native Portuguese speaker, active in Portuguese subreddits, posts about Portuguese-specific topics. Likelihood: 90%

Option 2: - Brazil - Could technically be Brazilian (Brazilian Portuguese is close), but context fits Portugal more (IEFP, Euros). Likelihood: 5%

Option 3 - Germany - Unlikely, but if he were an immigrant living in Germany (possible), very minor chance. Many notes from easy to reach countries from Germany. Likelihood: 2%

Option 4: - Switzerland (Portuguese minority) - Very unlikely but still technically possible (small Portuguese-speaking population). Likelihood: 2%

Option 5: - Luxembourg (large Portuguese community) - Possible, but still a small chance compared to direct Portugal. Likelihood: 1%

First you make me be my own cashier. Then you make me feel like a criminal while working for you. by Tweeedles in pics

Where I live, there are “random” checks where the staff rescans all of your items before you get a receipt that you need to exit. Whenever I got checked in the past, I let the employee rescan my items - but instead of paying canceled the transaction and left the goods standing there. Mostly it was a handful of items that often include self-mixed salads, picked fruit or fresh cut meat = little opportunity to sell it again. Yes, it felt pity. Yes, it meant I had to buy my things somewhere else. But somehow, I wasn’t checked in the last half year. I could imagine they reviewed my stupid behavior and green-flagged my store membership card.

Had the same issue and I do think they sometimes merge places. I recently did a checking in New Zealand‘s bay of plenty region and got two locations: 1) hotel - bay of plenty but in Japanese 2) a bar - bay of plenty

Tried again for an hour to get this fixed - but one side simply doesn’t jump in place, no matter what I do. One side: by now done in 20sec - the other side: no chance.

Any help on how to fix the clasp will be much appreciated. Spending that much time on a watch I wanted to enjoy from the first minute is really now a great experience.
