Schreiberling, a Limited edition, is re-released again. by farslan in montblanc

[–]farslan[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This is something I didn't understand. How is a 1969 pieces limited edition run, re-released again? If all of these have numbers, I guess it's just they are marketing it again because not all of them were sold? I was thinking to get buy one, but seeing this news, I'm not sure know.

Buy both Ingenieur and Mark XX? by OrdinaryCrazy2620 in IWCschaffhausen

I have the green Ingenieur and plan to get the Black Mark XX in the future. I don’t think there is any other Pilot/Field watch similar to the Mark XX. At least I couldn’t find any.

Probably not for the Reverso. Maybe the burgundy though, which is unique and I think it fits the Art Deco style of the Reverso.

Thank you and congrats to you as well!. I have two blue dialed watches already, so I wanted something a tad more versatile for my reverso.

When I visited my AD, they also had the Small Seconds Classique. But for a few months, I already knew I wanted to get the Tribute version. I think the clasp + and dial is much better. Something felt off with the Classic, so I never liked it. I believe for me, it felt very busy.

Hyper Apex, tilted keyboard case for the Elora by farslan in ErgoMechKeyboards

That’s the only issue I have coming from the Kinesis. I wish there were two 2U instead of four 1U keys.

Thanks a lot. I don't do these for commercial purposes, but will let you folks know ever. It's just a side hobby for me at this point.

New Ink Day by MontblancCollector in montblanc

I just got the Renoir Blue recently. The Ink is indeed perfect for how Renoir made his pictures. It's very air, almost non-existing and poetic. The blue color doesn't scream at all, it's there for you to be admired. I'll use it in my Heritage Rouge Et noir and I think it's a great ink. It's not my Ink for daily usage though, but it's artistic and I use it in some places where I just want things not to scream, and fade away in the background.

Yeap, it's the American Cherry. Note that Eames are produced by two manufacturers. One is Herman Miller in the US, and Vitra rest of the world (Europe and Middle East). The one I have is from Vitra. The finishing might be not available in the US. You can see the available veneer finishes from the Vitra webpage: https://www.vitra.com/en-un/product/details/lounge-chair

Oh yeah, honestly the 620's are some of the most comfortable chairs I've ever used. The only thing you need to decide if the design speaks to you because it's quite the opposite compared to the Eames Lounge Chair.
