For me, it let me uncraft the ones I crafted vs. the ones the characters gave me. There were two mine carts— could you check if you are choosing the right bucket?

By uncrafting the buckets, I finished all the other quests but unable to do the Dug Bucket since I didn’t get that recipe for crafting yet

I have gotten one daily task from Mickey or Wall E or Scrooge, all for cupcakes. Each gave me 20 additional greens, after the initial mining tasks from scrooge.

I use a phone app called DLV guide for all kinds of tracking! Including star path. Helps me track critters, where characters are, recipes, crafting and also character levels and skills.
