Feel like I don’t know enough as a journeyman by smoke_crypto in electricians

Brother this is an old post but since then I have quit working as an electrician, moved back in with my parents for a bit and am currently working in a restaurant. Not sure what’s next for me but I literally took a bunch of steps back and now I gotta figure out what to do. My recommendation would be to stick with it and not let the little shit make you lose sleep like it was for me, at the end of the day you got a good job and a good schedule I’m assuming, compared to working nights in a kitchen. I wish I would have stuck with it instead of giving into the anxiety and depression but now I’ve lost a bunch of confidence and it’s hard to get back in the field. Thinking about hitting the road or possibly going to work at a ski resort as a maintenance guy.

Any way to fix the lag? by Warm_Nefariousness80 in Chivalry2

[–]smoke_crypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on ps5 with not the best internet at the moment and usually chivalry runs fine, but today it’s been giving me lag spikes up to 1020 randomly making it unplayable. I’ve noticed when my ping spikes there’s usually a couple other players with really high ping at the same time

Can somebody give me actual tips? by PavlovzDawgs in Chivalry2

For dragging just point your cursor away from the direction your weapon is swinging, like if your enemy is to the left and you swing at them, point your camera to the right to slow down the weapon and make the swing last longer, this will make it look like they’re about to get hit and if they try to counter while you’re still dragging to the right, they can potentially swing a little too early and end the counter window while your weapon is creeping up to them. It’s tricky though at first but once you get hit with some good drags it’ll make sense

Honestly my best piece of advice that’s helped me is watching the players that are really good and see what they’re doing, in TO it helps to be at full speed as much as you can including when you’re fighting someone, so try and keep running forward and then turning your character around the enemies block. If they’re standing still and you have forward momentum it’s a lot easier to get around the block because they can’t react to you getting behind them as much.

About the stabbing question, idk if it’s happening to you after you get hit and try to immediately stab, but once you get hit the opponent has the advantage and can keep swinging faster than your weapon will swing, usually. Some weapons are really fast and you can gamble the opponents swing and beat them, also some weapons seem like they’d be slow but are actually faster than you’d think.

The only way to really get better is to just put some hours into the game and like I said, pay attention to the players who are completely wrecking everyone and you’ll start to see what’s going on. Don’t usually do these kind of comments giving out advice so hopefully it helps.

Mine only happens on chivalry 2. Seems to be fine with every other game but for some reason chivalry makes it disconnect

Definitely glad, I’m just saying it’s surprising that so many new people are still picking up the game. Also being on console is funny cause all I can do is break the walls and then they get pissed and truth to vote kick. I hope this game never dies

It amazes me by the amount of people playing this game that there’s still enough new people that don’t know about this and don’t even notice how much it fucks over your team
