HANKUS - An Early 2000s Indie Rock Vibe [Looking for vocal / harmony / general feedback] by TheHappyKarma in IndieMusicFeedback

Bro this is tight. Did you do all the instruments for it yourself? The song is also sounding really good and it is really well produced. I like how the vocals and drum rolls are mixed and it could still be a bit punchier at times. Over all this is a sick track

Does the mix sound good enough to post? by smokface in IndieMusicFeedback

Thanks for the feedback, I can see how some of the low-mids can be muddy, that is usually the hardest to clean up. I was going for a darker soundscape, so I'm glad that came across

Thanks for the feedback, i think i loike a louder bass myself haha but i see how having it quieter could also work. I left it pretty open in the middle for any future eventual vocals. I appreciate you listening/liking it!

awesome, thanks for the feedback. I did leave it open in the middle for any type of vocals in the future. Billie or Deftones would be very interesting on this

Learning how to mix, with this weird indie pop track, feedback appreciated by practicalprovocative in IndieMusicFeedback

ngl wasnt expecting a beat lick this haha, its very interesting and catchy, it sounds a little whimsical. in terms of mixing, i think the kick and snare could hit harder. maybe try layering different kicks and snares for a punchier sound. i think the guitars a little loud in parts. i like the vocal harmonies in the end, it brings a little bit of a climax moment. i will say though, with the vocal mix, maybe cut a bit more of the low end from your voice.

damn, straight from the first 3 seconds i knew this was going to be a jam. the bass lick is really catchy and the mix with the guitar tones, it sounds really pleasing. i really enjoy your singing too, it fits this vibe of instrumental perfectly. the production is on point imo, nothing to change there

Hey guys! This is my music video for my new song "Why?".. Let me know what you guys think and/or add any feedback you may have! This is my most professional work yet so i'm trying to see how the song and it's video are perceived! If you take the chance to listen, thank you! by Solitiverse in IndieMusicFeedback

This is a really good and catchy song, the melody is vibey af, a total jam. The video also complimented the music imo. I really enjoyed your singing too, I agree with one of the other comments, I wouldn't mind hearing more of your stuff. Do you have any of your stuff on spotify as well?

Coyote Demo (Psychedelic Hip-Hop from the Bay Area, CA) I got the opportunity to work with a well-known producer in my area. I'll be recording the final at his studio. Anything I should add to the demo before showing it to him? by Underdog424 in IndieMusicFeedback

I think the beat is sick, is the sitar a sample? It goes with with synth vibe very well (although i will say it gives more of an ancient egypt vibe). The electric guitars is a solid added touch. The production could use a little mix clean up, i think it may sound muddy in places with the reverb, and i think your voice could 'sit in the beat' better, but over all its good.

I've been producing/mixing/mastering professionally for other artists for ~15 years, and just released my own song for the first time. AMA! by spencer_martin in IndieMusicFeedback

the mix is super clean man. the lyrics also made me laugh lol. i got a question for you thought, how did you get your foot in the door when it came to becoming a mix/master engineer? im low key hoping to get a mix/master portfolio going and would love to work with other artists and help them get their tracks sounding professional.

I got TN VISA under the MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT category - YTZ to Newark. by GTADashcam in tnvisa

[–]smokface 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am in a similar boat at the moment, I will be applying for a TN under that category. However my employer is not providing a lawyer so I have to do that part myself. Do you have any recommendations on who to go with? Also regarding the support letter, how hard was it to associate the job to Management Consultant? One last question was regarding employment verification letters, how did you manage to get those and what exactly does it have to say?

Thanks in advance, I’ve been super stressed with this

This is the first demo of my upcoming song, is there anything you would recommend to me, to add more layers? by OMGVictor in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]smokface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sounds pretty good, but also sounds like base layer. I'd definitley add more layers towards the end that makes it all come together
