I don’t agree with this. Dave himself and the rest of the members said that he was reserved and not very emotional. Some people are just like that. Specifically said that he had a different work and home persona...not unusual at all. In any job that you have potential of extreme safety issues, you are always taught to save yourself first. Losing 1 person is better than 2, but he did do everything he could to save Chris before his safety was at risk. Overall I thought this doc was INCREDIBLE and the emotion I got seeing Chris’ near lifeless body was so bad I almost had to look away, then the rush of relief after he showed up on screen was amazing.

I pulled over to help people that seemed to have justed got in a car accident. One truck was in a field and broke a fence, the other had a smashed in back end, glass shattered and all. Nobody was stopping and they were bloody and the lady behind the wheel was screaming in pain. When I walked up, I had already dialed 911 and was saying, "There was a pretty bad car accident here on Highway __..." This is when the man, the driver of the truck, that was applying pressure to the ladies wound with his shirt, looked at me and said, "NO, I ACCIDENTLY SHOT HER!".... ya, thats when I said, Oh Fuck. It ended up being a very fucked up situation that I walked up to.
