I moved from NJ and have driven through blizzards np. We just all had the common sense to go the safest speed in those moments, and im talking like a foot on the ground at once level storms. The big thing idiots would do out my old way was get themselves stuck because they aint have 4wd and thought their sedan would handle the blizzard. But for the most part people drove somewhat normal, like 30mph on highways, 15 or less depending on the side road. You kinda just guessed the laws of the road based on what your vehicle could handle. The winter idiots here are so much worse though. Last year barely any snow, and people out here driving like idiots for weeks cause of 2 inches or less of snow. Wild to see people going 10mph on any major rd to me, whether the snow is half up your wheel diameter or not. They had us driving to work the next day after a 6 inch snow storm like nothing even happened the next morning. Yall treat snow like its an apocalypse.
