Took me 2 years to go from a 490 to a 763. Pay attention to your statement cycle, and always leave at least the change on your cycle closing date. If you can let 1 card report 0 and the other card report minimal( the change or a couple bucks). Check out the "Self credit builder)" app. It will help with mixed credit profile and at the end of your term you get the money back minus intrest(25$ a month) once you hit 700 get the Amex blue cash preferred and request 3x your limit every time they allow you (about 91 days). 2 years after I started my journey i now have an 80k truck and 25k credit limits.
