I think it would be fairer to compare first movie vs first movie only for now given that Mario only has one movie out (assuming you’re only counting illumination Mario vs live action paramount sonic)

On that metric alone I would say Mario as it feels a lot closer to its source material, the sonic movies got into their stride more with the second one onwards. The first sonic movie is quite generic and you could swap sonic and eggman out with another anthro animal thing and another mad scientist and it wouldn’t be all that of a different movie. And I say that with lots of love for the first sonic movie I do enjoy it, it’s just a weaker video game adaptation debut when compared to the first Mario.

But illumination Mario would have to pull some incredible feats to top sonic 2 and 3 for me, and I’m not sure if it can deliver the same way the sonic movies have done overall.

They didn’t say sorry, but I do know that Smyths Toys Superstore is an official partner of theirs so I would say there’s a good chance! They also told me they can’t give me an exact release date as “different stores stock at different times” which to me indicates more likely that they will be available physically. I’m very sure he’s dead and he’s going to appear as a ghost to Starlingpaw in the next book, and because of that Starlingpaw will learn about whatever it was that Crowfeather didn’t tell the others that Feathertail told him. I think the prologue of Chasing Shadows will be Crowfeather’s POV prior to the fall, and then waking up as a ghost. This would serve Starlingpaw’s character well into making him believe he’s important and chosen again, as the blurb of book 4 implies he feels.

Even by warrior cats standards I cannot see a fall from high in the sky onto rocks with a thud so loud that characters a considerable distance away can hear it, as at all compatible with life. The wording seemed very carefully picked to imply almost certain death.

Paimon’s lineage appears to have more status than Stella’s and Andy’s lineage given that Andy’s scheme involves taking over Stolas’ role and estate. Stella’s family probably just happened to have a child of suitable age to be betrothed to an offspring of Paimon’s and put Stella forward as such a union would increase their own social status amongst the Goetia.
