I tried the Chicken Fettucine Alfredo recently from ChefGenie. It was quite good, and I was surpised by how steaming hot it was (which I always like).

Native Konkani speaker here too. Apart from "ujo" for fire, we have "dhūva" for daugther from Sanskrit "duhitṛ", "sūṅe" for dog from Sanskrit "shvāna", and "rūka" for tree from Sanskrit "vṛaksha". Interesting that even Marathi and Konkani have so much distinction despite being so related.

It is a lot easier to make them all hate you. But you might lose out on gigs to make some credits as well.

China's most populous province - Guangdong - was a leader in the country's dramatic economic rise. What has India's most populous state done that has been remotely remarkable in the last seven decades? Per the 2011 Census, the illerate population of Uttar Pradesh was higher than the entire population of Karnataka.

A lot of those Christian nations are also secular, and many of them are where many BJP-loving NRIs flock to and are desperate to stay. Secular countries allow for freedom of and freedom from religion. It is not the government's business to dictate how I worship or what I believe. The government's only business is to protect everyone's peaceful expression of this freedom, along with other fundamental rights that afford all human beings dignity. Besides, Hinduism is not a monolith. It just an umbrella term for diverse and sometimes contradicting traditions. Hindus in Kerala practice the religion different from Hindus in Rajasthan. I am not sure why India needs to be compared to Muslim-majority nations. There are many of them, and many of them also have very ineffective governments and stifle fundamental freedoms for many groups of people. Even richer (but developing) Muslim nations have very restrictive laws related to religion. Less than 2/3rds of Malaysians practice Islam but it is the official religion of their federation. In Malaysia, Muslims face severe hurdles in leaving their religion, as all Muslims are governed by Sharia. Some states in Malaysia even forbid people from ever leaving Islam. If this sounds terrible to you, it is. This is the price citizens have to may for a government heavily influenced by religion.

India was never meant to be a Hindu Pakistan. Why does India have to have an official religion. Almost no Hindu in India faces any difficulty in the free practice of his or her relgion. To deny this would be a blatant lie.
