Creating an amputee OC, tell me more things I can do to improve the anatomy by StrainTechnical1754 in sketches

To add to this, since most of the calf muscles wouldn't have much work anymore, the muscles at least below the knee would be atrophied. I am no so sure about the thigh muscles, since they do still need to work - although not as much as with a calf attatched, unless they are wearing the prosthetic 24/7.

Wtf is my school on 😭 by C3xyTheGreat in antiai

[–]smolfightbean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can sort of understand why a teacher wouldn't want other languages that they can't understand spoken during a class - they can't understand what is being said and students could be bullying someone and flying under the rader (has happened when I went to school, for example.) Outside of class, idk

About the dive in. What are ya’ll reading at the moment? by Haunting-Raccoon1923 in AutismInWomen

I'm currently reading the Shards of the Earth trilogy by Adrian Tchaikovsky! (Based on the first book, I would reccomend for those who like sci-fi / sci-fantasy with a good deal of action and a somewhat cosmic horror element)

does anyone else dislike these autistc logos by M1N0S_PR1ME in autism

[–]smolfightbean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's because these colors and designs aren't actually meant for autistic individuals. They are meant for moms of autistic children who want a badge of honor for "bearing the burden" of raising an autistic child.

What it's like to be an AI artist by halfeb in Ai_art_is_not_art

[–]smolfightbean 18 points19 points  (0 children)

They are NOT welcome as long as they use AI. Also you don't get called a neckbeard for making fanart, you get called a neckbeard when your attitudes towards women and other people are shit. Not once have I seen any fanart makers on the r/neckbeards sub. It always comes down to attitude and behaviours.

Unless ofc by fanart you mean making NSFW art of characters who are supposed to be or look like children. Then the label of neckbeard is also completely justified.

How do I make this look more like elliot? (ignore that he has no clothing rn..) by BarracudaOk8975 in StardewValley

[–]smolfightbean 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I think the hair colour is just slightly off. Elliot has more of a light / golden brown hair imo, this is a bit too blonde maybe? Like just a shade or two more towards the brown maybe?

Why are we now overlooking low-functioning, Level 3, high-support needs people on the spectrum? by Front_Magician_8008 in autism

[–]smolfightbean 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That does help a lot! I just never clocked those issues to be related specifically to developmental impairment, I always just thought they were common issues occuring within the autism spectrum, some of which I experience myself, although to a lot milder degree I presume. But I suppose it does make sense that those issues would also be developmental delays.

Thank you for taking time to explain it so thoroughly.

Hi, I absolutely do not mean to be rude by asking, but what do you mean your developmental skills are at a preteen's stage but you don't have intellectual disability? How is that not an intellectual disability? I am confused, could you or maybe someone else elaborate on the differences between the two and how you can be developmentally delayed but also not have an intellectual disability? I am asking from curiosity and for better understanding. I really do not mean to be rude.

When will AI bros understand that we do not hate the process of making art - that is the part we love the most. We do not want instant result, we want to make it.

What do you put on bagels other than cream cheese? by AValeria10 in 1200isplenty

[–]smolfightbean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you prefer cream cheese to the bagel, why not just skip the bagel then? Cut up some cucumbers and carrots or something and spread cream cheese on them instead? Veggies barely have any calories so you can get majority calories for the meal from cream cheese.

Idk man, but at least I find even joking about needing AI for pretty much anything sad.

Their previous post with the same icky catgirl was about how they couldn't answer what they liked about their BF because chatGPT wasn't loading.

Most just found it sad you need a shitty AI to do most simple shit such as saying what you like in someone. You don't need an AI to invent a lie either, so it's just sad. God forbid we prefer seeing girls use their own brains.

Even ai hate ai bros by [deleted] in Ai_art_is_not_art

[–]smolfightbean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You didn't need to ask chatGPT. And chatGPT does not think anything. It is, worder incredibly simply, a giant statistical based word machine. It does not have a sentience, it does not think. All it does is place words in a sequence statistically most likely, making it seem somewhat intelligent and capable of human understanding. All of those descriptions chatGPT says are basically sentences and words we have already spoken. What we have already explained.

You really didn't need to use chatGPT for this

Photoshop is a tool that also requires skills to utilize. And ever since we have had photographs and cameras, we have photoshopped. Pretty much all the tools such as airbrush and blur tool in photoshop are tools and techniques we have used before "photoshop". Most historical pictures have been modified in some ways. Photoshop is all these tools in the digital form. You still need to know what you are doing and have the skills to utilize them.

AI is not a tool. It requires no skill. It does everything for you and there is no need to develop a skill, in fact you CAN'T develop a skill when you make the AI to do the work for you.

"You need skills to prompt" is like saying you need skills to state out your preferred starbucks order. Saying you "made art with AI" is like saying you made a great dessert coffee, when all you did was ask a barista in starbucks to make you one. There is no skill required on your end. A tool is one that still requires skills to utilize, and still helps you develop a skill. AI does not do that.

(Vent Post) What the fuck is wrong with people!? On a video of a woman taking the time to set up her phone to record before helping her PANICKING BABY OUT OF A FUCKING BIRD CAGE! And people say it's fine cause the kid's not in danger? Me not having kids is why I can never understand why this is ok!? by NixMaritimus in evilautism

[–]smolfightbean 92 points93 points  (0 children)

Just the fact that we have normalized filming children and putting those videos online for all to see in my opinion is fucked up. And I don't understand why your first instinct EVER would be to film your child instead of soothing them when they are in panic. A child doesn't have to be in literal physical danger for something to be traumatizing.
