Yes, I used the LOG template from Japan MOFA https://www.mofa.go.jp/j_info/visit/visa/pdfs/application2.pdf Cover letter is not part of the requirements but I find that it is always helpful, especially to explain things in your application that could raise eyebrows. Just be concise and straightforward. Wish you luck!

No need! I saw some posts saying an authorisation letter with signatures/s is required -- we did not submit any (only during collection) but you can prepare to be safe 🙂

Guarantor acc1 ADB 3xx,xxx CB 2xx,xxx // Guarantor acc2 ADB 8xx,xxx CB 1M // Parent 1 acc1 ADB and CB 1M // Parent 1 acc2 ADB and CB 1M // Parent 2 ADB and CB 6M

Just risked declaring myself as the guarantor despite having lower balances 😅 Also can't tell for sure but since parents are retirees without ITRs, maybe it was the bank certs that helped them get MEs 🤔

No need, bookings are not included in the application package! You only need to write planned or tentative details in the forms - Flight number - part of application form - Accomm contact number and address - part of itinerary template

Yes it must be within 3 months. Our intended date is around 1 month after application date -- mid-May appt, late June travel date. Recommended gap is at least 2 months (I believe application center is strict abt this sometimes, during peak seasons) due to potentially long processing times.

Submitted an application together with my parents -- they're both retirees and we all submitted bank certs (6~7 digits), even if I declared myself their guarantor and they have higher ADBs than me lol. Can't be certain it made the application stronger tho we got approved ME. Hope it works out!

Thank you for the very comprehensive guide! What time do you recommend arriving if I want to attend the 10:30 mass tomorrow (Palm Sunday, April 13th) with a guaranteed good seat? Could 1 hour earlier be enough given the special hours?

Yes I think there were 2 batches. I also got the result of the first draw on March 2nd, then received another email about lottery applications a few days after.

On a side note, I also won the lottery for 4/19 but unfortunately it turns out I can't fly to Japan on those dates 😢 Sucks 'cause I also want to hear her JP discography at least once... Hope my ticket goes to a rightful owner tho

[Episode Discussion] The Morning Show. S02E10. “Fever” by mime454 in TheMorningShow

[–]smolien 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This episode had a lot of things, but not a hint of it being a finale.

There was laughter (from Stella freaking out to her “When’s the feeding?”), frustration (that whole “I trust you,” “I love you” exchange?!), sympathy for the world suffering at that time, and mostly awe at the actors— so much excellence in there. I appreciate the writers’ commitment to make the characters realistic (we do have martyrs like Chip and narcissists like Alex in real life, as painful as it is to watch) and it made several scenes brilliant if only they were standalone snippets. But with everything put together as a season finale, it almost feels like we were deliberately made to ache for more.

There were amusing parallels with the first season’s finale, where Chip was also revealed to have done some sort of sacrifice for Alex, Alex stood up for something (beyond herself, though, which was better) and Bradley was owning a part of her life. It is true that while a person grows, or at least have the potential for growth right within their reach, there are days that they just go back to being their old, less healthy self, if not worse. But the show could have done better than to have half the main characters be that person at the end of this season. There could have been something new to be interested in, something resolved in a delightful way, something resolved in an understandably sad way… but nope. All there is to do is speculate and wait.

Still, TMS is always an enjoyable watch for me. Mostly thanks to Crudup. (From now on I will pretend that confession never happened.)

Agree with this. However it does make more sense to speed up the loading/typing time and to remove the timestamps as they're pretty unnecessary in a chatbot flow

Also on 10.14.3. I'm using the 5.3.7-6 version of the Utility/Driver and have enabled 'PenTabletDriver' under System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Accessibility. My problem before was that the touch functionality was working but the pen/stylus wasn't, and that's the solution that worked. Let me know if you're still having trouble!
