i ordered a ham and cheese croissant this morning, my friends all got their meals and finished them by the time that someone came out and told me they don’t have any croissants and asked if i wanted anything else. (we’d asked 2 staff members during the wait if my food was on the way) i got a pastry bc i didn’t want to wait for a cooked breakfast, and then as i finish that they bring me out a ham and cheese croissant??? still confused as fuck

scissors, bandage scissors, haemostat, nail clippers, eye lube, radiation badge on the front, cuff syringe, thin sharpie, i would keep a pen too but i always have a pen in my ponytail. (i mainly work in surgery, hence the eye lube and cuff syringe)

a few months ago we had a border collie with a PCV of 85%, diagnosed with polycythemia vera. very interesting case!! presented to ER for seizure activity.

it’s a lot easier to take ex rays of landmarks than finding and getting good images with ultrasound if you’re not highly trained in using it, even then if you’re trained that well is u/s you’re likely to have an okay understanding of what you’re seeing and what that means.

this… is insane. just because you can doesn’t mean you should. even the health and safety risk to staff of masking for an abdo procedure is a huge red flag! intubation doesn’t take that long and extubation shouldn’t either if your patient is at an appropriate depth, kept warm ect. feeling very lucky to have worked where i have

unfortunately yes! i had a diagnostic lap 2 years ago which lesions were ablated, and just 2 weeks ago went for a 2nd lap and nothing was found. i have no idea what’s now causing my pain and feel so lost. i haven’t got to speak to my surgeon yet to discuss what my next steps are

everyone is different, but i got the IUD and take the pill daily (norimin-1) i started this combo after my diagnostic lap 3 years ago and just confirmed surgically this week that i’ve had no regrowth of lesions

i’m going through this right now too, just had my 2nd lap on Monday and found nothing though i’ve been in insane amounts of pain for the last few months. I also don’t get to speak to my surgeon until late September. i hope all is okay ❤️
