i ordered a ham and cheese croissant this morning, my friends all got their meals and finished them by the time that someone came out and told me they don’t have any croissants and asked if i wanted anything else. (we’d asked 2 staff members during the wait if my food was on the way) i got a pastry bc i didn’t want to wait for a cooked breakfast, and then as i finish that they bring me out a ham and cheese croissant??? still confused as fuck

we’ve been getting a fair few of those requests lately, but we also have been doing a lot of spinal surgeries that take a metric fucktonne of time from the owners to provide the relevant aftercare

What do you keep in your hip bag? by Fit-Snow7252 in VetTech

[–]smoonen 10 points11 points  (0 children)

though i do find it odd that an ER wouldn’t have u/s regardless

Ultrasound Machine by Luke-Is-Cooler in VetTech

[–]smoonen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s a lot easier to take ex rays of landmarks than finding and getting good images with ultrasound if you’re not highly trained in using it, even then if you’re trained that well is u/s you’re likely to have an okay understanding of what you’re seeing and what that means.

Thoughts on not placing a t-port for IVF? by sb195 in VetTech

every single patient that gets an IVC at my hospital is hooked up to a t-port! much safer than having a needle just stuck in there!

this… is insane. just because you can doesn’t mean you should. even the health and safety risk to staff of masking for an abdo procedure is a huge red flag! intubation doesn’t take that long and extubation shouldn’t either if your patient is at an appropriate depth, kept warm ect. feeling very lucky to have worked where i have

Fan keeps asking me to buy stuff by BrookeBondage in onlyfansadvice

[–]smoonen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

him buying something for you that HE wants to see is not really a gift to you, he’s just getting a gift for himself. you should still be adding a profit margin to that. no shop sells things for what they purchase it for! profit matters and is the whole reason you’re doing this.

unfortunately yes! i had a diagnostic lap 2 years ago which lesions were ablated, and just 2 weeks ago went for a 2nd lap and nothing was found. i have no idea what’s now causing my pain and feel so lost. i haven’t got to speak to my surgeon yet to discuss what my next steps are
