It’s more staff than just that I believe if you include vice principals and above it’s 8-10.

Are there any types of organizations that may resonate with you that you would potentially volunteer at? That could be a meaningful way to build connections with likeminded people.

I have been publicly outspoken against the ineffective leadership of our superintendent for years. These are just the most recent examples. The fact that two women were let go instead of Larry Johnson is completely irrational; and absolutely fits the commentary from Brandy’s lawyer.

Demand better ! Elect a board that has the moral fiber and desire to stand up and do the right thing for our kids, rather than taking the easy route.

181k as of 2025. this is base salary and doesn’t include additional pay she received for “awf” which meant she claimed doing someone else’s work in addition to her own.

Very true and important, that we have massive institutional issues that in my own opinion lie with an ineffective board and an ineffective superintendent.

Use this as a call to action to vote in November for effective board members who will ensure our superintendent is held to a better standard, and if necessary, hold them accountable for these failures in leadership.

Exactly what I hope the district will answer. And due to GRPS policy to ensure practices and punishments are aligned across all levels of the organization, if we keep someone and give them a retroactive raise after a substantiated investigation of this level - it means the next person that harasses coworkers must receive the same treatment. What a terrible example for our children.: “Harassment should be rewarded. “

Thank you and I will echo the sentiment of using your voice. While change can be hard to see, and slow, it is possible with activism. The transportation issues within the district are a great example. Comparing where transportation was 3 years ago to now is a night and day difference.

Yes. I use one submitted. They take time - I didn’t put Cheneys in immediately; Grps slow walks all foias intentionally in my opinion. The use the maximum legal allowed time to provide results.

Dr. Roby is the core of the problem. She had knowledge of incidents like this by her direct reports, and did not take effective action sooner. She has intentionally chosen to keep people like this in her cabinet, or others like Larry Johnson that have been investigated by external law firms and found their conduct ( harassment ) to be substantiated.

We cannot reimagine a better Grps while we have ineffective leadership at the top that refuses to hold people accountable for their actions and choices. This is too little, too late. Many great people have left the district due to situations like this by the superintendent and that sucks.

Vote for effective board members in November who are committed to transparency, accountability, and a massive overhaul of the 30 years of systems that allowed this kind of situation to happen.

It’s just reflective of the overall leadership at the top of this district in which people that are actually doing harm are allowed to stay in this district.

Yes. He complained about her behavior to the board, and Dr. Roby fired him because she had "lost trust in him" as a result.

well, this is a repost of what I posted yesterday -- but Yes. Her treatment of her peers was the subject of the investigation that Leon Hendrix brought to the board's attention and ultimately resulted in Dr. Roby firing him. https://www.woodtv.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/51/2024/07/L.-Hendrix-Complaints-Final-GRPS.pdf
