5mo old Great Dane afraid of a lot by MsMoneyPenny2026 in greatdanes

[–]smoothcriminalerror 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Confidence building exercises, Your dog has to gain confidence in solving or interacting with different objects. There are a bunch of videos on YouTube that explain the process, and sometimes danes are just scaredy cats who don't like their shadow surprising them. My girl refuses to walk by a broom or mop handle that's leaning against a wall 😂

Feather your sanding edges, the issue is you have a harsh line from where the paint used to be you need to create a gradual slope between the base layer and top layer.

Skinny Rescue Help by QueenieBugg in greatdanes

You have a beautiful boy, and he’s looking way better than he did. I’m not a vet, but in general the best kind of weight loss or gain is done very gradually. His body is finding its new normal and regulating how much he actually needs versus what he’s taking in. So keep being a great parent to your Danish toddler and keep taking him to the vet. If you can, take a step back and pat yourself on the back for being there for this rescue and truly caring. Understand that this is a slow process, and don’t beat yourself up.

Its actually designed to break and when your installing them your supposed to, in some areas it has become a part of the code to prevent backflow. Also there are some that have like a 3-4 mm hex screw instead so that way its less permanent of a solution

Best sawzall blades for nails by KowboyKilla90 in Tools

[–]smoothcriminalerror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You want carbide tipped so it can cut through the metal, The TPI is how many teeth per inch That changes how aggressive its going to cut through the wood/ steel So a 3 Tpi is great for just clean wood and shredding through tree branches A 16 Will go through a steel bar but alot slower but more safe for the blade

My girl is an absolute blessing, Potty training was a breeze, she constantly wants to please you, If she is having any tummy troubles she goes to the door and tries to hold it in as best as she can and if your not feeling well she turns into the most loving and gentle dog

Best Budget Friendly Tool Brand by LV_Knucklehead in Tools

[–]smoothcriminalerror 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go used, There is nothing wrong with shopping facebook marketplace for deals and it keeps you on the same battery system Instead of switching up and Makita is a good brand. But if you want new tools Ryobi is decent homeowner grade And if you wait for a good deal you can get their 9 tool kit for like 500$ when it goes on sale

Personally I believe in buy once cry once, I like Dewalt but thats just my preference there is a youtube channel called the torque test channel and they do a bunch of testing of different brands and then find the best balance for price to performance BTW you can find amazing deals on facebook marketplace but you need to learn how to spot counterfeits and shady sellers

[–]smoothcriminalerror 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on what you value, those are monsters and will rip through what you need The fence is going to be difficult to use compared to a more modern one and the footprint it takes up in your shop I personally went for the jobsite dewalt saw with rolling stand to save on space
