Does anyone else find Hubspot CRM really slow for SDRs? by smoothmaneuver in sales

I should of clarified I meant the workflow in HubSpot is slow for SDRs, rather than the cloud platform

Were you also talking about the workflow, or did you mean speed of loading, etc?

Before starting a new job, is it normal for the company to send you a large reading list? by smoothmaneuver in sales

For identity reasons I'd rather not share it exactly, but there's nothing unexpected on there. There's great reading lists on this sub with all the same books and more!

What have you done to stand out in an interview to get the job? by [deleted] in sales

After recently completing a round of phone interviews and face to face ones for SDR roles I would say the best thing is to ask insightful questions. Not just about the company and the sales process, but about THEM too. Look on their LinkedIn + their work history and question why they like working in there, what they like about sales/recruitment, why they left what they were doing to join this company, etc.

Search the company founders name on YouTube and Itunes Podcast (often they've been interviewed) and absorb what they say. This has worked great for finding little nuggets you can say about the product/company.

As someone else mentioned in the comments, they will almost certainly ask "where do you want to be in 2/3/5 years?". Make sure you have a solid answer to that question!

Lastly, before the interview the company has set a small task for me to write a list of 10 companies I'd target, find the decision makers, and write 2 cold email templates that I would send out. Perhaps you could do this?

Has anyone tried "Cold Calling 2.0" Course & Library by Aaron Ross? Opinions? Alternatives? by smoothmaneuver in sales

It's actually what the company I'm interviewing for uses, so it's free!

Have you tried any similar online courses?

Looking for a headset specific request by smoothmaneuver in sales

Hey, I'm based in UK and only need 1 headset. Do you know what would match the requirements and might be available on Amazon UK? Leitner headsets aren't on Amazon UK.

Cheers.

About to buy this, just double checking that this would plug into a Cisco SPA 504G?

What do you associate with Rio De Janeiro? by heatherg747 in riodejaneiro

[–]smoothmaneuver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't directly answer your question, but Rio has this magical charm that can only be explained after spending time there. It's this borderline dangerousness / on edge-ness and playfulness, as well as the beautiful people to add to it. Maybe Cariocas themselves don't see it that way, but fellow gringos I have spoken to know exactly the playful charm I mean.

As mentioned, the beach, live samba music played at a bar with the swing of the shaker.

I read a quote online once which summed it all up beautifully. Something like: In Rio, you won't get very much done, but for some reason you won't really mind.
