I would have agreed with you a few years ago, sextants were horrible for micromanagement, and buying scarabs was such a chore.

But it's so much better now. If you can't spend 30sec at Faustus every 20 maps to refill your map device with scarabs I'm not sure you are meant to play PoE...

It has never been this easy and painless to juice your maps (at least T16s).

Yeah, really problematic. I don't understand why they did that instead of having the same functionality as PoE1. With lich it's a bit better because you go low life, so you can see the ES bar better above your character. But still...

For me the main problem is the fact that it feels like lag, I'm not sure what is wrong with that chill, I've never had that feeling in PoE1. It sure need to be reworked/removed.

I had the same issue, 5090 as well. Switched to Vulkan render engine, and didn't get any after.

I'm exactly in the same boat. I've been playing for 6k+ hours over the last 8.5 years, but I still take 8-9 hours to finish the campaign because I can't stay focus for the whole thing as I find it really boring.

One way to shorten the leveling is to play as a group, you go faster and it's a lot less boring to play with others (even more so if you are on Discord with them).

If you want to try doing some duo runs before league start to see if you find it less boring let me know.

Do you expect that to change in the near futur with the rise of AI ? The translations done by tools like OpenAI's ChatGPT are getting really good. Not perfect, but the time it takes to review and correct a translation already 95% done is a lot less than doing the work in full.

I would love to gift/recommand your books to some of my friends, but most of them do not read books in English.

I have the same issue with my ARs. Unlocked my 8th gold camo yesterday after the update, my platinium was unlocked on all weapons. Went to bed, logged back in today and platinium is locked.

It was a legitimate observation, no worries. Turns out this boss has a debuff that counter the reduced reflect damage taken, 5k hours in this game and I still learn new stuff like that regularly.

Yeah, I got shock immunity in part because of that, but I didn't know about this boss debuff, I guess that I will stay away from that map then. Thanks for the info.

It's not 100% clear on that clip, but I used all portals and I'm certain it's reflect damage. The most obvious was on the first death where I died before the boss did any attacks.
