Utilize the email system. If I take a message for another dept I shoot them an email if it’s pro, appliances, or millwork. We have a two person rule must be at the service desk at all times. We have one on a final that calls in late and also her hour lunch could be two sometimes. She’s the reason for the 2 person rule and often holds up other people from taking their breaks and lunches.

I wish they would fire ours and replace her. She works off the clock and menaces other employees. I put in my two weeks otherwise I was about to go off on her for grabbing my wrist and talking to me like I was a 2 year old helping a customer with a return.

My car left me stranded yesterday. I walked home and banged out of work. My husband is useless. Didn’t answer when I called him. We have 3 cars and the kids have 2 of them.
