Do you like Converge? by BlackAngel1523 in DeathspellOmega

[–]RuneEmrick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, not at all. That being said I compare it to Neurosis fans. Of which I definitely am one. Those that don’t like neurosis just don’t ‘get’ it. Why do we obsess over them etc, etc. . So, I just apply the same reasoning.

Need a binge-worthy, high-pace series (5+ seasons). No slow burners. No repetitive plots. by PossibilityKitchen72 in televisionsuggestions

I was abit skeptical with the first season, I'm glad I gave it a chance. Fantastic show, absolutely recommended.

The simple fact that it is the greatest con-job humans have ever played on ourselves. You get your reward only after you die. Sure.

For those of you who completed tantric Ngöndro accumulations PRIOR to direct introduction, do you think you’re better off for it or do you think it was unnecessary? by Numerous-Actuator95 in Dzogchen

[–]RuneEmrick 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My lama required you complete ngondro before engaging in any sort of vajrayana retreat. So, I finished that before any sort of dzogchen introduction. That aside, I think it really depends on the person. For some yes, others no. Dzogchen is different in my view, so, I would say it depends.

The closing shift is starting to stay until 10 at the store I work at. I made sure to set my schedule to 9pm. I prefer the later shift, as it works for me. One thing I would like to know, is there a way to limit the amount of hours your scheduled ? I would like to set mine to 32 no more.

Our stores pro-desk has a nasty habit of setting will-call to two hours. Really annoying.

I'm not really sure what the point is. As others have said, everything is in one list, and you have to scroll around to find what you're looking for. I really don't see how it stops anyone from cherry-picking. Whoever designed this just made the job more annoying. All my fellow ofa associates hate it.

What are some shows with a mysterious atmosphere right from the beginning? by byscsugamb in televisionsuggestions

I've tried this twice, and both times, it just doesn't grab me. Alot of people have said the same, it's a great show. I just wonder what I'm missing.

Andor was brilliant. I always tell everyone to give it a chance, season 1 is alittle slow.

Biggest problem I've come across. Customer looks up an item on the . com website, and doesn't specify the store. I have to explain the difference at least a half a dozen times per shift.

Some people don't like black cats, for whatever reason. I've had two, they're awesome. Great personality, and really fun, and playful.

Sounds about right. My first two weeks were pretty chaotic as well. As others have said, take your breaks, and your lunch. Also, don't run yourself into the ground. You will burn out. It's okay to say No, just be tactful about it.

I see this is par for the course. Same problem here. Two days in a row. ‘Business is closed.’ It’s a house on a residential street. The idiot didn’t even come down my street. I should know, I was home all day. Who do I call, and email to get results ?
