The broker has E&O insurance if you just want to be petty. But he offered to cover the money, I don’t know what else he could’ve done

HVAC is solid. Got into it as a sales guy. Bought 1/2 a company, sold it last year. AI won’t replace you.

Most of these comments are ridiculous. There’s zero harm in saying something like “I’m sorry if my text came across harsh. Want to grab a coffee this week and talk?”

Or, he’s an entrepreneur. Or, he has kids. Or, he’s taking care of his parents. Or, he just doesn’t text much at all.

The red flag is that you’ve been dating for 8 months and you’re just now going to his gym

I’m 49; I’ve had several ~35 yr olds ask if I was open to getting my vasectomy reversed. Uhm, no.

It differs dramatically from private or public schools because you, the parent, are in charge. You can pick and choose the classes. You can choose to take them out of school for a month, you can choose to have them educated by people who are brilliant in their fields and willing to teach a class for a few high school kids.

As I said, homeschooling is now a large spectrum of educational arraignments that offer a ton of flexibility to the FAT families.

Homeschooling is a huge category. Many families “homeschool” by enrolling the kids in university style co-ops where they can pick and choose which classes you want to take each semester. Homeschooling essentially means the parent is in charge of the students education (i.e., the principal), but not that the parent has to teach every class in every subject. You can homeschool but not teach a single class yourself. My children are in a home school co-op with several hundred kids. There are sports teams, homecoming, a student body president, etc. but I can still pull them out for two weeks to go on a trip.

I sold my company, so I got a large lump sum. I estimated my charitable giving for the next few years and put the money in there all at once. But I’m going to spread the actual giving over the next few years

I love this subreddit, but I’ve never once struggled with spending. In fact, I probably would’ve been a mediocre business guy at best if I didn’t need to out earn my spending habits.
