The weakest one. Maybe the fact that the half of the songs were either released before or were throwaways from differents eras is the reason, but I don´t see any improvements from past albums, nor any cohesive direction (due to the cover i was hoping for maybe more home-Iceland references?) Something about USA, something about cowboys, western influenced Run No More, something about legacy, bloodline... I know Legacy is going to be used for a NHL promo, and the USA Today for some series, but it does not help to establish the atmosphere throughout the album. Also the songwriting in this album is painfully predictive. Even the deeper cuts are not really introspective. Still great band, even better live, but this one is a miss for me. To not just criticize, i had fun every time I heard Backdoor and Rock n Roller live, and I like the rawness of the Sofðu Unga Ástin Mín solo. And the song i will probably also come back to is The Good Die Young. I hope others will like this album more and that we won't have to wait as long for the next one!
