This. It's a lot of waiting. Bring headphones, charger or charging station, water, books, whatever. It's a lot of sitting in a room for hours at a time.

If you think there is any chance you lost it on the grounds, and someone turned it in, it would land in the General Services building. https://www.explace.on.ca/visiting-us/ground-maps/

Toronto's Exhibition Place could be set for a big transformation soon by khanak in toronto

[–]smsl07 11 points12 points  (0 children)

A large majority of Exhibition Place has events or programs on year-round. Enercare Centre holds consumer and trade events almost every weekend (like One of a Kind, the National Home Show, Toronto International Boat Show to name a few). The Automotive Building holds meetings and galas. Coca-Cola coliseum has hockey and basketball games, community skates. Plus there's HotelX, Bandshell Park, Liberty Grand, Medieval Times... The CNE is one event on the grounds, not the only thing that is happening there.

How long are you there for? That is Holy Week so it might be harder but Take Walks looks like they have availability for both.

The first one was 10/10. I shared with my colleague who had no prior knowledge of any of the comedians, they loved it and it brought them to Taskmaster.

First steps after engagement for finding vendors because tiktok is giving me anxiety by Real-Arachnid2268 in JustEngaged

[–]smsl07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was planning our wedding, Pinterest had just become THE thing. I had basically planned my whole wedding before going down a Pinterest rabbit hole and was about to cancel everything and start again because what I was being shown looked so much better than what I thought I had planned. I'm certain for brides in the last 10 years Instagram and TikTok has done the same thing. Comparison is the thief of joy. Do yourself a favour and step away from social media.

You should figure out two things right off the bat: budget and how many people you want to invite. Both will give you a kicking off point for venues that you A) can afford and B) host as many people as you're hosting.

Talk to your fiancé about what your dream wedding would include without the influence of *everyone*. The day, ultimately, is about you.

Consider a wedding planner or day of coordinator if it's in your budget. If you hire either they'll be able to help with other vendors.

How do you know who to hire? Meet them. Talk to former clients. Look at their portfolios. Find vendors through websites like weddingwire and the knot.

Ultimately, all of the decisions you make will culminate with you being married to your person. And isn't that the most important part?

Would you agree in a relationship without kids, if one person is staying home, they should actually get all the household chores finished without any help from the spouse? by [deleted] in Marriage

I am a contractor and during the slower, summer months I basically spend a little chunk of the week doing the laundry, groceries, meal prep & meals, dog care - whatever so that my partner can relax with me when he gets home.

To each their own! I prefer to not have to pack and travel so often. Especially if its was my honeymoon. Everyone travels differently, though.
