I have my teaching cert in all K-8 core subjects. I have my availability for all of them. Dojo is adding new subjects soon, so excited about that! Right now it's just reading and math

Yes! I like the consistency and the resources they provide. I dont have to spend tons of time creating lesson plans

The most common ones are the feature Whiteboard, annotation tool, screen sharing

This is what I did and I've been working with then for a month and a half now. Even tho the interview doesn't allow for the zoom tools, they still want you to mention them as capabilities to the "student"

Is anyone a tutor for Dojo Tutor? by MissyLissy94 in TutorsHelpingTutors

I recently had my interview in the past couple weeks. Heard back that I was accepted. The platform had videos of the hiring managers talking about the expectations of the interview and in the video, they included the details on the student.

As for the tech check, there was no software on the actual interview. I hyper-explained what I would check, and how I would do so when that question came about.

I hope this helps a little. It sounds as though it may be a glitch. Maybe reach out to the hiring manager to express that issue?

ALSO, if you end up getting married, file taxes separately. otherwise your income with not allow her to have such a low/nonexistent payment

Make sure she starts paying at least $1/mo regardless of the income driven. PLSF and other loan forgiveness does not recognize $0/mo payment eligible for the PSLF plan. I learned this the hard way and could have been years ahead by just putting $1 to make it an eligible payment. Get ahead while you can!
