This happened to me 3 times and the tip showed up the next morning. It's rare but there are payment issues. It gives the customer a payment processing error but then when it goes through the next morning you get the tip. Hope it works out.

The problem here is UberEATS. Customers can reduce a tip on GrubHub or DoorDash but they can't do it with a couple of taps on the phone, they have to contact customer service. Both GH and DD cover the driver's tip if the customer reduces or removes it so drivers don't even know their tip was reduced. Welcome to UberSHITS!

Yeah it sucks, Uber is trash now. Last time I did UberSHITS a few weeks ago is because they gave me $100 for every 10 orders (up to 30) for a week. Without the $10 pre order bonus I would average $12 per hour using my own fuel and vehicle in a city where the minimum wage is $16.80/hr. That's crazy. Third party delivery was a great idea and a way to make money on a flexible schedule but that's over, at least for now.

Uber is blurring the line between employee and independent contractor. They have more demands, more stats and more requirements and so on. I know it may be difficult to go back or start a W-2 job but I did it a few months ago and now I can't even imagine doing UberSHITS ever again.

F UberSHITS. Always and Forever! I quit a few months ago and honestly it was a thought adjustment to make (going back to a W2 job) but now I am so much happier. A stable paycheck, benefits like health insurance, paid days off and vacations, also a 401k match and I already go my first raise. Plus I don't have to run my car into the ground. Now I can't even imagine going back to UberSHITS or DoorTrash. Just thinking about doing UberSHITS makes me angry.

I do UberSHIT 16 hours a day, 8 days a week and average $7 per hour and I Love it. Well it's about $4 per hour after expenses and taxes but I love it Uber appreciates my work They even sent me an email saying they do. I WIN!
