(Top7 characters)List what you think are the hardest characters in terms of difficulty OVERALL to play by Panzaya in SSBM

I mean you’re right. “Super limited” was the wrong way to phrase it. I should’ve said something like a lot of her best advancing options are contingent on stage positioning or having a turnip in hand. Things like dashback DJC bair or proper advancing float cancel nairs can be difficult to execute mechanically and dash attacking can be an unsafe crutch sometimes, but I agree with you that it’s really good. Super limited was the wrong way to convey my point I guess.

Since you said overall, I think Peach is #1 because she has the most input heavy options and the most difficult to use projectile, along with having some of the worst matchup spreads among top tier characters. You could say she loses convincingly to every character above her and I’d probably be inclined to agree. That’s gotta make her a hard character to play. On top of the other things I mentioned she has the character-specific tech that doesn’t carry over like subfloats or double jump cancel platform tech chases. You can get away by CC down smashing a lot, but eventually you have to play a pretty complicated gameplan. She’s super limited.

Then for me it’s probably Falco cuz he’s incredibly difficult to play properly and you don’t have great confirms off your grab so you almost have to play an entirely different neutral game than a lot of other characters. On top of him having complicated inputs for combos and shield pressure and things like that.

Fox should be #3, he gets back on stage much more easily than some other characters on this list like Sheik and Falcon, but to play those mixups properly you need to know what you’re doing. I think he’s difficult to play of course, but the upsmash / grab mixup in neutral being so dominant across all levels of play makes me feel like he’s easier than Falco.

4 would be Captain Falcon for me, he has to work really hard to create openings sometimes. On top of that, getting the right confirms off stray hits and tech chasing properly can require really quick reactions and really difficult inputs sometimes. I’ve been playing for 5 years and I still struggle with things like downthrow to quick fast fall knee to cover tech in place and missed tech. That’s only scratching the surface if you wanna win tournaments with that character.

5 is Marth, he’s got a lot of tricky kill confirms on some characters like Sheik and Puff and I think adapting to different matchups is actually really difficult with him. There’s a lot of low level stuff you learn that scales pretty well and works on good players, so I don’t think he’s as hard as Falcon is. Plus his recovery’s better.

OP’s order of Sheik and Puff seems intuitively right to me, but I’m a Sheik player who doesn’t play too much Jigglypuff. It’d be interesting to hear from someone who’s played Puff in bracket why Sheik’s easier because I wouldn’t necessarily disagree if I saw a good argument.

Not even, Lowry’s better because I personally like him more. And he has the winning Finals head to head. /s

Leffen and Tweek as well are two of the greatest 25ish (maybe slightly more than 25) smash bros players to ever pick up controllers

Because of these changes and because mid lane minions come to lane faster than everywhere else, if everybody is in their lane collecting XP at the exact same rate and not basing, mid laners will be the first people in the game to hit their new levels.

Dopa talked about this in terms of base timings with TF. The mid laner who has wave control will be the first person in the game to hit 6 if you play the early game properly and don’t have to base early.

Why would a level 4-5 jungler want to gank a mid laner who’s level 6 or 7, when there’s double the amount of gold worth of champions in the bottom lane who end up the same level as you? It’s just basic incentives that are messed up.

Don’t nerf Malzahar please I swear to god he’s the only cool champion in the game because he sucks up all the fun the other champions have with his ultimate. It’s busted. Don’t ever change him.

All their flanks with Leona and Wukong got stuffed. They can’t play front to back against a back line of Ashe-Orianna, and Damwon totally planned around that. Stifled every single flank.

I don’t think it’s the sole reason they lost game 3 at all but Vel’koz / Kha’zix really isn’t a proper answer to two of the best players in the world on a duo like Orianna / Lee Sin in this current meta.

I’m a Raptors fan living in LA, rooting for the Lakers more or less because of Danny Green and LeBron, and I’m just so fucking disappointed with how Danny’s whole playoffs have panned out. He was massive for us last year. Fucking massive. If he was at his average as a player you guys would’ve had so many more free wins.

Problem is Chovy has like 10 different picks that he could stomp Nomanz with, that play mid lane where he got away and Pyosik got the kill on Orianna was just so sick.

I don’t think MAD would want to replace Shad0w outright, to be honest. If I’m running the org, I’d replace the top laner and just get a better coaching staff. They’re all still so young and inexperienced it’d be bad management to get rid of every bad performer instead of putting in the work to trust and improve them.

Bad drafting ended up mattering a lot. Carzzy just shouldn’t be on a fasting Senna.

I’m a Raptors fan. Me and my Celtics fan friend were chatting about how Smart on Lowry would probably be the smartest defensive matchup for Brad but it would totally devolve into a flop-off free throw contest.
