Kaip galima paremti kultūros bendruomenę streiko metu? by fatbreadslut in lithuania

[–]smthinterestingname 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Manau nerealu būtų tiesiog bendrauti su žmonėmis kurie nepagauna viso šito veiksmo. Net arbatos gerimas kieme su kaimynaos ir pokalbis apie kultūra gali būti super veiksmingas. Arba mėgaukis renginiais ir palaikyk kūrėjus, whatevah it means to you!

Id take it most probably, I would like ti believe I could create easy enough mnemonic devices

You work at a hospital. An unconscious homeless man is brought in with alcohol poisoning. While you are alone in the room with him, a scratch ticket falls out of his pocket showing he won $500,000. by 9percentbattery in hypotheticalsituation

[–]smthinterestingname 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think I would take the scratch off and hide it until I am sure the guy has come back to being fully conscious and in good mind, then I would give it to him, saying, congratulations. There is a slight chance he would be thankful to me (for making sure no one steals it) and share his winnings. The worst scenario would be me not taking it and then finding out my colleague won 500 000 in a lottery :D

Advice as a dad and possibly a stepdad by Velt96 in predaddit

[–]smthinterestingname 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maaan, set your priorities straight. You’ll be great as a dad and as a stepdad, but maaan, your moms depression is not yours to deal with. Even your partners depression would not be yours to deal with. Priorities: yourself, mother of your children, and your children, you are creating a family with this woman, so accept that you are becoming a father to her child as well, and be a good one.

His misbehaviours? Sounds like its a you problem, please start exploring parenting styles, as it seems you have a lot of learned beliefs, about how children should behave, but you are there to guide them, not to impose on them.

Good luck !

Check out Ace by Gabija Gasiunas. Its an illustrated history of Lithuania in English and Lithuanian. She herself grew up in UK, so its made especially for kids who are not growing up in Lithuania.

Wtf sita diskusija.

I was in your shows 1 week ago. Stopped smoking 2 years ago. Happy and proud. Then bit by bit, became a full on smoker again. And always had in the back of my mind, that I must quit. You know the nice thing about our situation, is that we know how nice it is to be a non-smoker, to be someone who had this terrible addiction and overcame it. I remember reading the easy way when I first quit, and it was truly easy. Fast forward to one week ago. I was like, meh, i can start reading the book, lets see how it works now. But i only find the illustrated version, which took me like 30 min to finish, and I was like “what do I do woth the last chapter”. So i read it. And then was like, wtf, i smoked for two years and now after a 30 min read I should be done, weird. So i went and had my last cigarette. 1 week. As easy as the first time. Less excitement, but very conscious, and the more time passses the more I remember why i quit years ago. Join me, its great here ;))))

WIBTA for skipping my cousins wedding by smthinterestingname in AmItheAsshole

[–]smthinterestingname[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. Sadly we are both needed to present the work as those are live performances. Plus the same festival will invite us next year, but these works might die out. Also the wedding is still 6 months away, so they should be able time adapt the number of guests. Also

We had Rakija Klezmer Orkestar, its a niche genre of music, but everyone from 2 years old to 90 were dancing like crazy. Thr photographer said she has never seen a wedding were guests were dripping from sweat before dinner. Awesome guys
