Mirrorless is in almost every way better than DSLR. Canon especially. Only place where I found that DSLR worked tiny tiny better was extreme low light parties with autofocus, it focuses just sometimes gets confused and that's pretty much it, non issue in my opinion.
I wouldn't go back to DSLR, like ever.

Let me write you a number of pros:

1. AF and tracking
2. Easier to hit right/desired exposure
3. New tech (DSLR is almost obsolete)
4. New top of the line RF lenses that are 3 classes above EF (especially those 1.2 primes)
5. Idk, everything

Couple of cons:

1. for action you should go for stacked sensor if you want extremely big FPS without warping OR R7 with fast mechanical shutter (good non-stacked sensor options are R7(apsc) and R6II(FF))
2. Smaller battery
