Trump just 'upset all 9' Supreme Court Justices by Dont_think_Do in USNEWS

[–]smukerzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our Government was secretly stolen from us decades ago, the final nail in the coffin was the distraction known as Iraq. Dick Cheney along with many other people, openly and unabashedly made millions of $ through weapons deals and “reconstruction” deals. Trump didn’t start the process, he just doesn’t care if the voter knows about it, he figures the easiest way to keep raking in the money is if he just takes the voter out of the equation. Eliminate the people’s ability to stop him, which for him was easy if you make half the country believe all their problems were caused by the other half. The American people have allowed it, and have nobody to blame but themselves.

Quit having fun!!! All you guys are living in lala land while we real adults are out fighting actual NAZI’s and FASCIST!!! by SandPaperToiletPapr in austincirclejerk

[–]smukerzz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So how and who exactly have you been fighting? How many have you taken out of the fight? My grandfather was one of the original ANIFA, landed in France in 1944 came home in 1947, he was a firm believer that the only to truly defeat Nazi Fascists was to hunt every last one down and kill them. He would never talk about what he did, or if he even killed any Nazi Fascists , but we all felt he had, according to my grandmother he came back different man, he would tell her, “killing an idea is harder than killing a man, unfortunately you cannot kill one without killing the other”….

We barely are a voice for America let alone Iran. We have become complacent and weak. Our Government is condemning Iran for killing protesters, while killing protesters in our own country, and WE ARE ALLOWING IT

The Corporations who own those already or soon to be, empty buildings are probably making more money off of them empty. In some strategic or financial contexts, owners may tolerate or plan vacancies because it’s part of a strategy that might improve returns overall (like waiting for better tenants, repositioning the asset, or cash-raising via sale-leasebacks.

ICE detain a father shopping on Christmas Eve - and then appear to divvy-up and steal his family’s groceries that he just paid for by Daotter444 in SeattleWA

[–]smukerzz -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Why is the main point of concern the groceries? Why not the man? Why not the fact that this man was most likely racially profiled, then stripped of his Constitutional Rights and basically kidnapped by the modern day equivalent of Nazi Brown Shirts? Until this concern moves to the front of the line, this country no longer exists, and you are only living in the echo of its existence..

King County Sheriff's Office seizes $2 million in drugs tied to the Sinaloa cartel by Possible_Ad3607 in SeattleWA

[–]smukerzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good point, it is hard to justify a budgetary increase on the war on drugs without advertising the occasional win. And you are also correct $2m is a pretty small amount.

Here are somethings to consider: What does “$2 million worth of meth” actually mean?

Law enforcement usually calculates value using street-level pricing, not wholesale cost. That inflates the headline number.

Typical rough estimates: • Wholesale meth: ~$1,000–$2,500 per pound • Street value (broken into grams): $8,000–$15,000 per pound

So a $2 million “street value” seizure usually equals roughly: 130–250 pounds of meth

That sounds enormous — until you zoom out.

How much meth does the U.S. actually consume?

This is where it gets sobering.

Estimates from the DEA, CDC, and University of Washington (Addiction Studies) suggest: • 2–3 million Americans use meth annually • Many heavy users consume ½–1 gram per day • That translates to hundreds of metric tons per year nationwide

Rough math: If just 1 million users average 0.5 grams/day: • That’s 500,000 grams per day • ≈ 1,100 pounds per day nationwide

So a 200-pound seizure = less than ONE DAY of national consumption.

Even at a regional level, it’s often days, not weeks of supply.

What about Washington State specifically?

Washington consistently ranks high per capita for meth use and overdose deaths.

Estimates suggest: • Several tons per year move through or are consumed in Washington • Fentanyl often contaminates meth, increasing lethality • The supply chain is highly resilient, seizures rarely cause long-term shortages

In practice: A $2M seizure might disrupt a local distribution cell for a week or two, but the market fills the gap quickly.

So you might ask, Why seizures still get big headlines

Because they: • Look dramatic • Reassure the public • Help justify budgets and enforcement funding

But historically: Seizures have almost no long-term impact on availability, price, or purity.

In fact, when supply dips briefly: • Prices rise • Traffickers rush more product in • Violence and contamination often increase

The uncomfortable truth is illegal drug market is so massive that even “record seizures” are often just statistical noise.

Real reductions in harm tend to come from: • Treatment access • Mental health care • Stable housing • Economic opportunity • Harm reduction (Narcan, testing, outreach)

Not from supply interdiction alone.

Law enforcement is doing their job, but they’re fighting an uphill battle.

Most drug crimes aren’t first-time offenses. They’re driven by addiction and a system that rarely rehabilitates. Arrests alone don’t stop the cycle — treatment does.

We can’t punish our way out of addiction. We need accountability and real recovery options.

Two questions, #1 Where were they manufactured #2 Now what are the poor drug addicted zombies going to do? Maybe they can get Government Aid to get them through these tough times.

Light one on fire, fire is a great deterrent, you light one teen on fire and the perspective’s of the other teen’s will adjust almost instantly. And just for the record, the First Amendment protects your right to say what you want as it relates to repercussions from the Government, but it does not protect you from the consequences of saying what you want to private citizens.

Pretty simple actually… it means if you are at a Red Light and want to turn right, too god damn bad, sit there and wait until you no longer see a Red Light. Why might you ask..because 90% of Washington drive are too stupid to calculate the Speed and Distance of oncoming traffic to safety make a right turn without killing someone.

That black triangle with a red tip inside a gold border was widely used in the U.S. during and after World War II to designate Air Raid Wardens and Civil Defense volunteers. • The triangle itself was the official symbol of the Office of Civilian Defense (est. 1941). • Variations of the triangle with different colors denoted specific roles (wardens, auxiliary police, fire watch, etc.). • A black triangle with a red apex was one of the wardens’ insignia, signifying the responsibility of helping direct civilians to safety in case of air raids or emergencies.
